☀️Tangled-tober, Day 7: AU☀️
Little Cass helps Little Raps with her hair.🥰
One of my favorite AUs is where Rapunzel and Cassandra grew up as actual sisters in the tower together. Each other’s light in the darkness when Gothel is gone.💖

Cassandra didn’t understand a thing going on.
Not a thing.
Nothing made sense anymore.
Her mission had gone so, so bad. Her trainer was not going to be happy.
The man with the cape…Batman. Her target made no sense.
Distract him had been the mission. She distracted him. Sure, she did that by helping him with whatever he was doing, and protecting him, and letting him give her food, but it was certainly distracting! He sometimes stopped paying attention to his surroundings and got startled by very simple things. Like the man without the cape—Nightwing, that was his noise. The noise Batman kept insisting she use—landing on the roof behind them. Or the lady that was her trainer’s trainer appearing in her sleeping place.
Once her trainer’s trainer appeared, Cassandra’s confusion only increased. She thought once the lady got there, and her mission came to an end, everything would start making sense again, but no.
Because she used the same noise Batman had given her. Cassandra. And looked down at her with fake mean covering up her inside approval.
What did that mean?
Then, she gave Cassandra to Batman. Not even as a mission. Just. As a gift, almost?
Her trainer was not going to be happy.
But Batman was really nice, and Cassandra liked it when he was around. He kept teaching her how to make noises, and he was really insistent that she learn how to make the specific noises that meant Batman and Catwoman and eat and food but he was always happy proud kind whenever she made the noises right.
She just wished he let her come with him to whatever had him scared worried determined. Instead, he made her stay with Nightwing, and Nightwing gave her her blanket and put her inside a car and was now bringing her somewhere.
Nightwing was kind nervous worried, at least. She didn’t know why he was nervous worried, but he was kind, and promised he would keep her warm, like her blanket did. Or safe, like he kept saying.
She didn’t know what that noise meant, but he was very serious about it. And her trainer’s trainer gave her to Batman, and Batman told her to go with Nightwing. So she did. Even though she didn’t want to.
Now Nightwing was making a lot of noises as they headed to somewhere outside the city.

While I was looking through the comments on 20.8 I noticed someone mention that Dinah did foresee these futures back in 16.3. So I went back and looked
"Eighty point three six one five percent chance of mass death that extends across realities."
Titan Fortuna's goal
"That remaining nineteen percent? Fifteen percent of it is worse. Where we don’t even get to die."
The Simurgh's goal
"The other four percent isn’t pretty either"
Humanity's goal. This means there is a chance that we won't get a bad ending and Victoria will emerge victorious! We are already veering more towards that 19% than the 81%. If we can just get to that elusive 4%
But either way Fortuna and probably the other Titans will be sticking around.
"And in every one of those eventualities I talked about? She makes it through. She’s there, after all the blind spots pass, and she leaves us to our fates, for as long as we still exist in any sense."
I think maybe Rain did get through to Contessa, and that she'll play a key role in judo throwing Fortuna.
