Idea for a possible scene in Kid Cosmic Season two

The Local heroes are in the middle of dealing with some problem, when their rings get knocked off. Everybody scrambles to grab a ring, but they get the wrong ones and suddenly have powers they’re not used to.

Jo trying to use TK, but too stressed to focus.

An army of Tuna Sandwiches getting in each other’s way.

Papa G portal hopping all over the place.

Precognitive Rosa trying to warn everyone about what’s coming, but it’s all happening so fast and she can’t keep up.

And a 40-ft Kid, doing just fine. He’s the only one who’s used all the stones, before. True it wasn’t for long, but he had a handle on them. 

Cue Kid guiding the others through the unfamiliar powers and, after a while, the whole thing just starts working and the problem gets settled. Jo awards Kid a medal, a real one, this time. Jo tells Kid that she may be the leader, but he’s definitely the coach.

Just listened to the Kid Cosmic Sound Track.

Anyone else notice that Dr. Fang’s singing gets more and more coherent as the album goes on. For the first few tracks like “The Kid” And “The Gravity Ball” I can barely understand half of what he’s singing. But, by the time we get to “Party Back at My House” he’s perfectly clear.

Random Kid Cosmic Thought...again.

Okay, I’m kinda on a roll here, bare with me. What if the stones of power start rubbing off on the five. Like they occasionally use the powers when they’re not wearing the rings and don’t realize it. Then they find themselves becoming human hybrid versions of the aliens who’s planets the power stones come from? Maybe Kid finds his head bigger than it should be. Maybe Jo’s are longer and more flexible. Maybe Papa G and Rosa find themselves getting fuzzy? Maybe Tuna Sandwich finds himself growing metal parts. Wow, Papa G really would just end up as a taller Wander, wouldn’t he?

Random Kid Cosmic Thought

I see people speculating about who’s going to get the other eight stones of power. But, what if people, good people, already have the stones? Like Kid and the others run into people using the stones to help people in space or on other planets? Wouldn’t trying to take the stones get awkward at that point?

Kid Cosmic AU idea.

Okay, here me out. I’m seeing ideas for angsty Kid Cosmic AUs, so what about this?

It’s basically the same until the five aliens show up. They’re not here to take back the stones, they’re here to destroy them. Why? The stones contain the last remnants of the powers of five of the worst criminals in the galaxy. The stones were sent into the far reaches of the galaxy to get rid of them, so that no one could ever use them again. 

The whole crashing on Earth thing was an accident. Now people on multiple planets are worried that there’s a new five out there. And Kid and the Local Heroes have an uphill battle to prove they’re not like that. Also the five had very loyal followers, some who practically worshipped them. And they want the power stones of their former leaders back, at any cost.
