Zombie AU
~Skylox's pov~
It's been a month since the out break started...A month since my sister and I got seperated from your parents. luckuly for us we havent run into to much trouble on our way to a dinner we now take shelter in. Its not to big, but its enough to keep the both of us safe I had to go get more supplies and had to leave Butter alone at the dinner, I would normally take her with me, because I hate leaving her behind, but lately, there has been more activity from the undead in the small town over. Luckuly for me, I had tought her how to use a pistol before hand, she she should be fine. as I neared the dinner I checked to see if I had brought everything on my list, double cheeking my pack "hmm...alright, I think the only thing I forgot is the fishing line... eh, was't to important anyway" I swung my bag over my shoulder and knocked on the door of the dinner, hearing faint footsteps and a voice. "S-Skylox...?" I smiled as I knew she was still safe, as I replied "Yeah, its me, im back from my little suplie run, mind letting me in?" and with that she opened the door and let me in, before passing her I took out a small pouch from my poket, then handed it to her "here" "what is it?" she asked, I smiled and shook my head "open it and maybe you'll find out" I watched as she undid the little knot and her face lit up "Candy!" I couldn't help but smile at her reaction "where did you find it?" I set my bag on one of the tables and started taking everything out "one of the stores had a box of unopened candy in the back, so I thought hey, you know who would love some candy? my little sis!" I chuckled looking over at her as she begain to unwrap one of the many lillipops. It was getting dark, so I took out our blankets and handed her one "time for you to sleep, I'll keep watch like usual" she frowned but took the blanket from me, covering herself with it "I wanna help keep watch too" I looked at her and handed her my blanket as well "nope, you need the sleep, besides, I can just sleep later" as I spoke I sat by one of the chairs by the window, puling up the rifle I had found on our way over here. she only looked at me before nodding, leaning on the wall and slid down, covering herself with the blankets "kay then, just dont stay up to late" I smiled "I wont this time, promise" she then smiled back and closed her eyes tho we had been lucky that nothing has ever tried to attack us during the night, I still had to make sure it stayed that way...unfortunatly, it didnt stay that way for long
