HUNDREDS OF LEAFLETS DOORDROPPED IN MEMORY OF JILL
Last Saturday was the 25th anniversary of the death of Jill Phipps, who was killed on February 1, 1995 while protesting against the live export of calves for the veal industry from Coventry Airport (https://www.jillphipps.org).
And Wyre Forest Vegans were proud to honour Jill on Saturday, when eight of our volunteers doordropped 600 of Animal Aid’s “This Little Calf” leaflet in the Comberton and Offmore Farm areas of Kidderminster in her memory (https://www.animalaid.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/This-Little-Calf.pdf).
Photo shows WFV volunteers at Kidderminster Eat.Love.Yoga before they set off for their doordropping session. Left to right: Ronnie, Adam, Jo, Jez, Judy, Deanna, Nikki and Cas.
