🌷spring activities for lil fairies🌷
i don like colorin all the time!! when it gets sunny outside i wanna run round n get dirty n find aminals!! here are some berry good ideas for babies who love playin outside!!
I will rate them so you can find a good activity for your age group!
blue = toddler safe
pink = kiddo safe (if it's safe for toddlers it's safe for kiddos)
* = must have a cg or trusted biggie helpin you
1*) build a butterfly buffet 🦋
whatcha need: ripe banana, mixin bowl, saucepan, wooden spoon, 1/2 dark brown sugar, 1 cup water, paper plate, string, a nice stick & scissors
step one: ask your cg to help peel the banana in a bowl n carefully mash it up into a nice goop!
step two: have your cg add the banana, sugar, n water to the saucepan and put it on a low simmer. they should stir it up real good with the wooden spoon so it don't get all burnt up!!
step three: when it becomes all sticky but still a lil bit runny, turn off the heat n let it cool on down
step four: ask your cg to punch three holes into the paper plate n thread a piece of string through each one. spoon some paste onto the plate and have your hang your feeder on a safe branch
step five: wait for butterfly friends to come n enjoy a tasty snack!
tip: make sure you wait for the butterfly food to cool down so nobody gets ouchies!!!
2*) make garden fairy ice 🧚🏿♂️
whatcha need: edible flowers or pretty herbs, edible glitter (optional), water, an ice-cube tray
step one: pick out the edible flowers or herbs you want to make into fairy ice
step two: ask your cg to chop up any herbs or bits that are too big, or you can add a whole leaf per cube
step three: sprinkle in edible glitter and add water
step four: ask your cg to put them into the freezer and wait 5 hours or until they are truly frozen!
tips: i like to chop up green herbs and fill a cube with them acause it looks like a cube of moss in my cup! & fairy ice taste wonderful in a pitcher of lemonade at a picnic with friends!!
3*) make pressed flower pictures! 💐
whatcha need: pressed flowers, paper, & glue
step one: arrange your dried flowers on a sturdy piece of paper
step two: ask your cg to watch you carefully glue a lil drop to hold them down
step three: wait for glue to dry n hang on the fridge!
tip: don't eat the glue!! your cg will not be berry supportive of your lil snack!! my mama gived me timeout!!
tip #2: press your flowers at least 4 weeks before you do this project or they will be too mushy n not dry out good
