I HAVE MORE KIDS
Okay, so I work with kids, and I’m spending five days away from home with a new job. Anyway, I heard two things. One was a sister telling her younger brother that he acts like a girl because he liked to wear dresses, and put his hair in ponytails, and I had to keep myself from laughing as the kid used typical masculine stereotypes to defend himself. The second thing was in the afternoon, where some of the female identifying kids were playing with dolls, and one said something about how because she had more babies, she was superior. I could almost hear the parents on the other side of the building cringe. Alright, welp. That’s my kid post of the day.
Hot take but like babies don't have to be cute to be valuable and precious.
Infants look like weird shriveled potatoes. It's fine! They're still awesome! That baby is full of potential and curiosity and weird humanness just waiting to figure out how to communicate. That baby is unique and no one can really guess what it'll do, much less the baby! Love them for being little and human and full of infinite possibilities
