Motoha's laugh is an awkward, strained thing, cut short when she suddenly winces in pain, although she still manages to keep the wobbly smile on her face from dropping off for more than just a moment. She really had to go and do get hurt, didn't she? She knows Tatsu's right, that moving will make the wound worse, but it's taking a surprising amount of effort to stop herself from shifting in place... her body instinctively trying to recoil from the pain it feels, even though there's no place for it to retreat to.
It's a bit embarrassing, but that sort of feeling isn't really helpful right now, so Motoha's focusing on trying to keep it light instead. Only a short moment passes before she speaks again.
"I swear I'm doing my best!" And then, another moment, before she asks with a deceptively casual voice- "I didn't really get a good look at the wound, but... it's not that bad, right?"
