Kiku has decided to try to crowdfund for a new ipad for AAC. Kiku's current ipad doesn't have enough space for all of Kiku's aac apps. Kiku barely has room to update apps and the ipad itself. And its getting very frustrating.

Kiku has found a refurbished ipad mini 6th gen on amazon and Kiku wants to try to raise money for it and a case for it.

Goal is $430 to cover the ipad, case, shipping, and taxes and fees.

Update: Kiku forgot to included screen protectors and a shoulder strap. (important accessories for a communication device). So Kiku is bumping Kiku's goal up by a little. Previous goal was $430.

Kiku is trying to crowdfund to get the remaining things Kiku needs for Kiku's pecs book to be fully set up and usable. Kiku needs a set of the page inserts, break, wait, and help cards, more velcro, a few stim tools that will live on the book, and a magnetic drawing board to have everything Kiku needs. Kiku was hoping to get these things before now but there just hasn't been the extra money. Even without being fully set up the pecs book helps a lot, Kiku just can't say nearly enough with it as is. If Kiku gets anything over the goal amount that will go towards an autism seatbelt cover that will live on the shoulder strap of the book. (its around $30 and is a very secondary goal).

Kiku's goal is $125 to cover everything and shipping and taxes.

Pecs book update post! This is not the final layout because still don't have all the deviders, but this is the layout that works for now.

ID: Seven pictures of a pecs book with a magnetic drawing board attached to the front cover and cards on plastic devider pages. The first image is cards that are phrases and things that need to be communicated quickly and one tactile symbol of the word no. The second page is needs and wants. Third page is things, and questions, roughly half of it is a continuation of the second page. The fourth page is high contrast core words with LAMP VI symbols. The fifth is describing words and some social phrases and words and foods and it is half empty. The last page is mostly feelings and something's wrong type things and some foods and drinks. End ID

Eeeeeeee!!! New shoulder strap is here!! Ordered from AACcreativespace on Etsy.

Got shoulder strap with shoulder pad, three sets of attachment points (for ipad, accent, and podd book, so will be able to switch between them easily) , and a charm of the yes no button from Bluey. 🥺

ID: a folded up bluey fabric shoulder strap with an acrylic circle sewn onto it that says "I can use my big girl bark" on it, three sets of fabric loops with metal clips on them two black one red, a bluey fabric bracelet that says "I have something to say please wait while I type my message", and a acrylic version of the yes/no button from Bluey. Kiku had a fibro flare, really bad. Hurt so much. Couldn't settle to sleep. And was able tell wifey/carer what wrong and get help using pecs book. High tech ac sometime too complicated during bad baad pain, but pecs book not as complicated and it tactile and help ground. Still not feel good and still hurt some but no as bad. Fibro awful 😖 Kiku love pecs book. Very happy have it. Kiku try go sleep now. Very tired. Kiku do pecs book update post again tomorrow.
