Play With Our Junk: 2014 in Multiplayer
You, fine reader, are invited to join The Kill Bunny and Evil B this year as we try out some of the most anticipated games of 2014. We have two games on the docket so far and while neither is up and running we are in the process of getting player organizations together for our fans, friends, family, and you!
First up: STAR CITIZEN
Maybe you've heard of it? Only the biggest crowdfunded project in history, brought to you by Chris Roberts, the man who also brought the greatest game series ever created, Wing Commander. Originally set to be made for $500,000, as today Star Citizen has raised an astounding $37.1M. The game that was originally to be a spiritual successor to the classic Wing Commander series is now one of the most ambitious projects in the history of gaming. It promises to be a vast, huge, extremely big universe with both a massive twitch space ship command platform with everything from combat to piracy to trading and a planet bound FPS RPG on a multitude of planets across said universe. All of which will be a single server massive MMO sandbox the likes of which have never been seen.
Will it live up to the hype? Who can tell, but right now sign ups are underway for the Alpha and Beta phases and backers get in immediately. We plan on being their from the beginning, and if you are already a backer you can join our Organization, a hapless band of party bound smugglers and pirates known as "The Lawn Darts" today! Alpha starts soon, so hop on board.

Up Next: ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE
If you are a member of our Steam Group, you can confirm that I am a big fan of Bethesda Games. On last check, I had logged 364 hours in Skyrim. I'm sure I had similar hours on Fallout 3 and Oblivion as well. While I approach it with some trepidation, the latest gameplay videos show some promise considering the vast differences between the FPRPG and the MMO. Concerns aside, it will truly be the last stand for the pay-to-play MMO model. Debate still goes on over at our facebook page for our Guild as to what our name should be, what realm to represent, and what platform to play it on (I'm leaning PC myself), so feel free to join the group and give your input.

Epic Mickey 2: Game Review
Epic Mickey 2 is the sequel to a game that was much hyped but an eventual letdown Wii exclusive by Disney Interactive. My opinion at the time that Epic Mickey came out was that the gameplay was hindered by gimmick-y controls and that it might have been a better experience on a more traditional system. From the moment I heard about Epic Mickey 2 being multiplatform I wanted to get my hands on it and finally got the chance to do so this past week.
Several hours in, it happened. A glitch. Not just any glitch but a gamebreaker. I was forced to stop playing and due to the game's autosave system I would be forced to restart the game in its entirety to continue. This review will reflect that I was unwilling to do so.
Mickey Mouse, the iconic Disney Mascot, is once again called to the rescue with his magic paintbrush with which he has the ability to erase or paint objects. Erasing something allows you to see either through it or to see what is built underneath it. Occasionally, even quest and trophy items are hidden beneath a surface. Your other main character is Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney's original large eared creation which Disney Co purchased back from Universal specifically for the Epic Mickey games. Oswald is the gadgets guy and uses his long ears to hover fly over large spaces. Epic Mickey 2 can be played either single player or couch co-op. Keep in mind, this is primarily a platformer so co-op can lead to some missed ledges due to lack of camera control. Epic Mickey 2 is a casual game, but accessibility was probably one of the key elements the game was designed for. Most of you would probably never even pick up the box, let alone bring it home but then again I am pretty sure the game was neither marketed nor made for the likes of you.
Epic Mickey 2 is most definitely marketed towards kids, but I have to draw the line at the dialogue. Regardless of your target audience, there is no excuse for lazy. The Dialogue is so repetitive that it makes one want to stab my ears out. It's like they weren't even trying, and considering that Disney is a company fairly well known for making things with a ton of Voice work there is no excuse.
A few of the minor parts of the game that I really enjoyed are the pin trading, a staple of the modern Disney Theme Park Experience (one that I myself have found myself enjoying reluctantly IRL), finding hidden Mickeys (another theme park staple) and hidden Oswalds to take pictures of and a Fable-esque good or evil game mechanic.
Overall, I found the hours of play a bit boring with very little action outside of jumping around like a lunatic. I would recommend this game for parents that want a wholesome game for their kids and doesn't mind a little direct marketing by one of the biggest companies in the world.. If I owned it, I might give it another try but since it came in the mail from GameFly (and got so frustrated with the game I started yelling at the tv) I decided to return it before Evil B and I got a change to play it together.
My rating:
1 Smashed Controller for the Game Breaker
1 Smashed Controller for the unforgivable repetition in dialogue
1 Smashed Controller for the camera issues
for a sum total of THREE SMASHED CONTROLLERS, making this game more trouble than it is worth.
Ok, so some of you have asked about behind the scene photos of photoshoots..
This is how it breaks down.
