so, this is my small what-if.
what if Yoda won against Palpatine? And what if Obi-Wan killed Anakin on Mustafar?
They'd return to the temple, and search for survivors. They would probably find some of the children, like Grogu and Reeva, hidden, scared. They would probably have a lot of fear, even of their beloved grand master of the Order, because they saw the greatest hero the Order gave to the Republic turn evil, killing all their friends. But they would also find some other Jedi, hidden, almost dying from the wounds, that could still be saved. Jocasta Nu, the archivist, is still alive, somewhere in the temple, and she could help the two, but most importantly, while Bail Organa would explain the horror that Palpatine had in mind for the Republic and the Jedi order, common people would show up to the Temple to help. All the people who knew the Order was good, now without the brainwashing propaganda of Palpatine could see with their eyes that they just tried to help. Now the war would be over, and someone could figure out about the chip in the Clones' brains.
But there would be so few of them until all the Force sensitive people from around the Galaxy would start sending kids again. And the very few adults in the order would need help to raise and train the kids, even asking some of them not to be sent to the temple, because there is only that much that a few adults can do with so many younglings.
But slowly the Order would be rebuilt, with a warning. Never ever train another child older than 5, 6 years old at best, not even if he's got the higher possible midichlorians count again. And don't trust prophecies ever, even with the best intentions.
And never trust politicians again, especially the ones from Naboo!
