Megacon came and went. Here is photographic evidence. I shared the table with co-writer Joel. Now that it’s all over, I’m going to get back to work on Issue #3. I’m also planning some big changes to how people can get the comic, so watch out for that coming in the next month or two.

Where I'm At

So yeah. It's been a while. What's going on with me you ask? Oh, you didn't? Well tough, I'm going to tell you.

Issue #3

I'm working on it! Kinda. Not as hard as I should be, tbh. Though it's pretty much written. I'm really struggling with the whether or not it's good enough factor. My overarching goal with this project has been to push myself, artistically, literally, musically, etc. And I want each issue to top the previous. It shouldn't be hard, but I just want them to be good.

So yeah, just trying to sharpen it up in the script before I get to the artwork. I have a really daunting and fast-approaching deadline of getting it done for Megacon. I'm really hoping I can do it!

Conventions

Speaking of Megacon, I'll be there! In the artist alley, along with Joel. I'll have comics and maybe some brand new merch. I'm working on that. He'll have some killer movie beastie posters. Seriously check these out. You're going to want to buy at least one, because chances are he has your favorite movie beast. Megacon is the weekend of April 10-12. We'll be at table Blue 14.

I did two years in a row at Florida Supercon in Miami. It's seriously a great convention and you should go! I don't think I'll be going this year as an artist, though I may pop down there for a day or two as a pleb.

I might take a year off of conventions, focus on cranking out a couple more issues and really trying to get the word out through some other means.

What the hell have you been doing?

Working, mainly! I'm a full-time graphic designer and I have lot of long hours, especially this time of year. I've also been goofing off with watching TV shows and movies and the occasional game. I have been working on my online presence. I keep trying to sharpen up the website to make it easier to "get." I recently set up a twitter and instagram. Follow me on there and I'll try to give more regular updates! Also, I set up a twitch to do better livestreams when I'm working on the comic, so keep an eye on that channel.

Just a quick peek at a sketch for Issue #3. No spoilers but in this issue the band realizes the error of their ways, tells Lucy to stuff it, and reforms as the "Play Nice Gang," where they will be successful singing happy songs. This will also be the final issue.
