Are you ever going to buckle and give us a full fic of you Time Twins AU? Or better yet a complete comic?

JASDHFAHJ oh my goshhhhh thats the question isnt it.

i have like. lotsa reservations with doing this. like for one the problem with a fic is i maybe write once every 3 months and usually about 1000 words before i give up. i also am miserably bad at planning a plot (has been coming up with a bare-bones summary for my ocs since 2020) so like yknow

a comic on the other hand... also kinda unlikely. dont get me wrong id love love love to, but comics are super time consuming for him and again. im not good at writing them

biggest issue is that this would be a long term project. i lose steam fast and hard so a lot of big projects dont really make it to completion. if i started an actual like. au comic with a plot and arcs etc, idk how fa id get before i burnt out.

having said this, making a comic has always been a dream of mine and i think i will make a few comics surrounding certain events or concepts. i need the practice <3

- I suppose there’s probably an extra challenge in starting completely from scratch in terms of your inventory. That does seem like a lot to handle in terms of programming, so I’m not sure if starting a new chapter will always require you to build from a previous chapter’s save file. 

- Yeeeeah, I feel like we need some kind of distinction between “pure darkness” and the apparently less-than-pure that the other fountains are made of! Maybe it allows Ralsei to bounce around between worlds, but maybe we still need more info!

- Haha, while that was my initial idea for the comic, it was also the part I was LEAST expecting to become canon. So I’m not surprised at all that we’re not getting multiple Ralseis in canon. ;)

Will there ever be any plans to go back and finish the COMIC part of the story? Or will it forever remain in text form? (Ether way, I’m at least happy you chose tell us the rest of the story rather then simply abandon it all together.)

There are no plans to go back and draw everything. Now that we have wrapped up Caretaker, we’ll be focusing our energy on original content!

We would love to see fanart though!

What are human-monster relations like OUTSIDE of town? Do they get along or is there tension between the two?

Sans mentions that they don’t always seem to get along well, so there’s probably still tensions in a lot of places. Some places they’d get along better, but Hometown’s way on the extreme negative side.

So what’s next for this blog as a whole? After the written summary is posted, and remaining ko-fi art is finished, what next? Will this blog be archived? (No longer be updated) Just occasionally post art you make. Or are you looking to start a new project?

first things first: plot summaries, concept sketches, and coffee art will be posted here next! from there, who knows? but rest assured this blog will remain available for reading at your leisure. that said, if we DO pursue future projects, we will absolutely post about it on this blog, so you can keep following this blog if you want updates!

we’ve got a lot of ideas that we would like to pull off, but frankly the biggest blocker to any new projects is money. as unfortunate as it is to say, i just can’t afford to continue investing years into things that won’t even see me receiving enough money to pay rent each month. that’s why, for now, i want to focus my efforts on patreon! if i can make a certain amount per month on patreon, i will be secure enough to invest time in a giant new project. :D
