— Y'all meet at the farmers market, you and your family have had a stall there, every weekend, from late spring - early fall since you were a child
— You met V a few times as kids, but you never spoke. It was one of those childhood crushes you think about all the time growing up, and so did he. but you never crossed pathes until later.
— You met again in late teens, where V approached you about seeing you there all the time as kids, and when he moved away he kind of missed coming to the market to see you. Was it weird? Maybe, but you admittedly had a similar thought process.
— He invited you to his school formal. He helped you get dressed up for it. That was the first of your friendship, at 17.
— You stayed connected over the years, he went to online school, and started to visit your families farm, turns out he loves animals.
— And he loved helping on the farm for the most part. Not only was it working with animals, but it was you two having fun. Rounding up the sheep and the cows was probs something you two did a lot.
— Picking the fresh fruit and having a mid-summer afternoon snack together laying in the haybales out by the sheep. hidden away from everything out in the pasture.
— sitting on the fences, and star gazing at night.
— you both were able to teach other a lot about animals and plants you didn't know about. V even started to help out at the farmers market a little bit when he could.
— those summers felt endless when you two were together. before he had to go back to the city for university, and how far the distance was, but the summer always rolled around again, and you were together again. back on the farm, in your overalls and boots, splashing each other with pails of water, or milk.
— getting into fights with hay, going for joy rides with the tractors. brushing horses, and sheering sheep and making funny faces with the wool. you kind of were always scared of growing up, being unfamiliar with city life, but V introduced you to it slowly.
— You visited him at University, you slept on the floor of his door, you the homeschool farm kid got to go to parties with V, best friends, lovers, whatever you two were.
