imagine Face Stealer aka the Killer who steals others faces to use as mask but why should they stop at just Sanses sure its the easiest one to blend into their faces but now they could anyone even if its only works for a split second a joke of confusion or terror my guy just wants to have a nice snout or fins or something. Why stop at monsters why not Chara. I don't know its just a very creepy idea for my guy. I know their are some Japanese myth of such a creature which is definitely where the thought comes from even if not entirely originally honestly I was mostly thinking of the face stealer from Avatar although the original ideas was just simple mask it spiraled into this when I thought of that being. They are basically a myth you whisper, a horror story you tell at campfires, rumors you can never be sure of.

Okay imma preface, ill probably write up something more detailed later... Im just not in a soul eater mood. My Other Half @asternights had a lot of fun with this so please show them some love.

"Death's Pet Witch" this lovely Meister is a witch that cant use any harmful spells... At All. Only Buffing abilities. His weapon Partner is able to take this energy and make single person spells work more AOE style. His partner is also Ace, and she specifically dyes her hair rainbow as a vibe check for weapon form. Anyone who doesn't pass the vibe check is reported to Death and given one of his Patented "I am Disappointed in You" talks. With the duo watching using his security cameras. He is extremely good at patching people up and making sure they stay down when too injured to fight. Boi can pull off pole dancing style moves to defend himself using his partner's flag shaft.

Bravery | "Thief Prince" later "Crowned Thief"

"Working with the oranges was really interesting to figure out. We don't really do much with orange," Aster musing after finishing the piece. Name: Heinrich (And Prince Aura tul el Fiore) Age: around 11 when they met, goes onto live a full rich life AU: Fantasy AU Relationship Status: Eventually marries (Because he doesnt want to rule so leaves it to the wife) and has an heir Injuries: Cracked eye due to carriage crash Accessories: "The One Crown" an ancient magical artifact that keeps hero kings safe from the cursed magic of evil sorcerers. It will only work when on the head of the one who holds the "Royal Hero's" soul. They have stolen many crowns but this one is just coooomfy. Soul Traits: Bravery

Heinrich's story starts with a Carriage jacking gone wrong. The two carriages crashed into one another while Heinrich's parents were trying to steal from the Royal Carriage. The parents fled at first leaving a dying Prince Aura and Heinrich alone in the crash. the Prince gave his soul to the terrified and dying child, merging them together. The next day the parents came back to see their child with a new ghostly friend and orange eyelight. Taking him home quickly after. Over their lifetime they went through many trials and tribulations, drawing them closer as found family. Heinrich's parents took to caring for Prince Aura as if he were their own. Prince Aura knew no familial love before, as his own parents despised him for being a "Bastard Child". (King dad had a fling with a monster servant.) Later on in life its discovered that he was still alive in some way and the royal family took in Heinrich... only so they could try to kill him off so their son was seen as the legitimate heir to the throne. The family's Royal Crown and Sword only reacts to the first born heir with the Bravery Soul Trait. A true right of passage for the royal family. Years later the Demon lord Asgore rises up to attack the kingdom. Heinrich and Aura just... don't care. The kingdom never did anything good for them after all. The head of the royal guard finds them and offers money to get them to help. Absolutely paying them to care. Prince Aura holds a special magic skill that helps him draw in people with his Charisma. This is very much so used to collect a band of adventurers to help them defeat the Demon King. Although the duo opt not to kill him and just agree to cycles every couple of decades of letting him rise up only to defeat him. In exchange the Demon King gets his own plot of land to govern between his reigns of terror. Their future Son, who grows up into a marvelous ruler, finds it a bit annoying but still goes through with the deal all those years later.

Prince Aura cannot settle without his crown nearby. throwing fits like well... a child, whenever they don't have it. Even offers the locations of his parents secret Treasuries throughout the land in exchange for not selling it. Though Heinrich finds it EXTREMELY annoying when Prince Aura whines. Some of Heinrich's rivals try to steal the crown and sorely regret it. One of the secret Treasuries is an abandoned Gold Mine Heinrich turns into their own nest of sorts. Despite it lacking Gold Veins it is extremely rich in rare and unique Jewel veins. These Precious Gems are traded with the local Mage's College for money. They have a "Don't ask don't tell" agreement on their trades. The kingdom of Fiore is one who holds Archery in highest regards, so they see Magic as a disgrace. Often times ignoring magic rich resources in their lands in favor of materials for making bows and arrows. Only the King and Royal Family are allowed to practice Swordsmanship.

this lovely mennace was the product of binging Hellsing Unlimited and coming upon DT and Perseverance in our little personal challenge list. Aster draws em and I give em stories~ His Other Half take the place of his Integra, a very bitchy woman that keeps him on a short leash for VERY good reason. Yes he does need multiple tracking devices for when he goes outside. No they dont know how he keeps removing them. Yes he is an absolute Masochist and knows it. Do note, he wears fucking Cold Iron. it burns. Yes he does not care he likes that little bit of pain in his day to day.

Melangell | Integrity + Kindness

Warning! There is Medical jargon and the like here. As well as someone who doesn't understand Medical Ethics. Yes I'm looking at you Mel.

Second in an... Interesting series of Cross Soul Trait characters Say hello to Melangell! This lovely Killer is the resident of a Horrortale style AU, except instead of food being the major Issue its Medicine. The Monsters are all Falling Down due to a fast proliferating Sickness. Melted creatures of some manner he cant quite identify.

Mel has slowly gone insane from the condition of his AU, covering his eyes to avoid looking at the tortured Amalgamates his fellow monsters became. Melangell has to replace his blindfold weekly due to his Tears staining the gauze. Due to his avid research into the Illness, Mel doesn't exactly eat enough, resulting in weak magic. Finding it difficult to maintain his elfin. "That weak magic is a blessing for everyone," as Aster said. He was once the judge for his AU, however one can only truly judge when there are people left to judge.

Mel keeps a blood bag full of Magic to ensure he can keep doing his job. Using a machine in the lab to extract the magic from the few human souls in the underground. The soul traits of Integrity and Kindness blend well with his soul. The end of his Spear is used for collecting samples from his patients. It is not directly connected to his blood bag! Its just convenient to keep it attached.

With his eyes covered, he relies on Hearing and vibrations in the ground to sense others around him. He is scarily good at knowing where you are at. Able to sense the magic in the veins of his patients when in close quarters.

Of the Humans that have fallen into the underground since the infection, he has found each of them revolting. Escorting them out quickly to keep them away from the infected. "Cross Contamination is a revolting concept. keep going. I don't have all day. there are patients to attend to and I don't want you to be amongst them." Even set up a cloth tunnel network from the Ruins entrance directly to the castle to avoid having the humans anywhere near his patients. Only one was kept down there, purely because their magic tricked his senses into thinking they were a Monster. The Mage died shortly after from catching the same illness as the monsters. The soul was untainted by the virus, and shortly there after used for supplying his IV. Kept in a jar in his lab providing a consistent flow of Kindness.

I had this fun musing of what would happen if Dream ended up finding this lovely Psycho. Dream proves to be immune to the plague, yet something about him feels wrong to Mel. Dream finds it odd how Mel seems immune to his Aura, and gets drawn into Mel's obsessive need to cure the plague. Didn't flesh out the idea much XD Aster finds the idea of an asshole dream getting tied up and used as a guineapig fun to muse. "Collared up like a fucking dog." I think a young dream freshly unstoned would be interesting. Completely new to the multiverse, and finds himself stuck in this AU. Struggling to get out due to the high levels of despair. He stays close to Mel as an assistant. Finding those moments of Pride and Joy from Mel are worth the struggle to learn Medicine and find a cure for the monsters. Nightmare wondering how the hell his brother was foolish enough to get trapped in that Psychopath's den. Dream comes out of it with a wellspring of knowledge eventually, if a fair bit germophobic. Often going back to check up on his mentor.
