why is it okay for killer to be unhealthily obsessed with color but it suddenly crosses a line when it's dust or someone else

Because it is acknowledged as unhealthy when it becomes unhealthy, is because killer is a traumatized character who hasn’t had healthy relationships in years and tends to think of them in terms of a hierarchy, and because the whole point of killer’s ending with color is that he doesn’t stay that way forever and is having help and support and therapy.

Not to mention I am all about staying close to canon and I firmly believe Killer would not even care enough about Dust to become ‘obsessed’ or fixated. Color is the only person who has not only made Killer feel something in years consistently, but makes him feel real and treats him as if he’s real.

Of course the traumatized disordered man who already struggles to tell what is and isn’t real latches on to that and is a bit terrorital. Color is literally the only person or thing that has made him feel an inch of happiness in years—the only one who has made him feel like an actual person, the one keeping him grounded and will not just let him slip away into his detachment—outside of his cats—which, if you’d recall, are not safe from Nightmare. Color at least has the abilities to fight back and fight back good. Killer is attracted to his strength, after all, amongst many things. (Something Dust does not have, btw, ergo not safe to bother trying to attach to.)

My main issue was never that Killer was obsessed. My issue was that its sexualized almost all the time, it happens for hardly any explainable reasons that make sense and it happens with characters he wouldn’t feel that way towards—and im never given a reason as to why im supposed to believe that this character—known for his apathy and neutrality towards most people and detachment and genuine lack of ability to form many emotional attachments—is behaving that way. And so I am only left to assume it’s because the person depicting it is a Dust or Nightmare simp and want me to believe that Killer would feel the same way about these characters that they do.

Apothecary Killer Design

Here's Killer's design for the Apothecary Nightmare AU. I don't completely know how to feel about his ceremony clothes. So those might change. Enjoy his design so far! Killertale was created by rehafwabas.

(I edited the text in the picture and I hope it's easier to read. Please let me know if it isn't so I can edit it again and fix it)

Killer is 22 years of age and stands at 5' 6" in height. Back when he was 20 years of age and younger he was once a homeless skeleton who grew up being a thief and would also do some dirty jobs here and there to make ends meet. Also doing this to try and get medicine to keep his brother healthy. Though his brother turned to dust after one harsh winter. Once his brother was gone he stopped caring about everything.

Though one night when trying to find a place to sleep he over hears a plan from a group that wished to assassinate the X-empire emperor along with his entire blood line. Killer decided that he was going to stop this. Following after the assassins' as they made their way into the empire walls. Slaying each of them and staying as quiet as he could. As he was making his way out and act like nothing ever happened. He ran into Horror. Trying to flee only for Horror to grab him and hold onto him as he waited till morning.

Once morning came he met with Gash, Cross and rest of their families along with their concubines. Gash expressing his gratitude to Killer for not only stopping the assassins' but also helping them learn of their own warriors that had aided them in betraying the crown. For saving them he gave Killer to Cross. Making him Cross' third concubine.

Even though he's been a concubine for 2 years of time. He is still not use to the life of a concubine. Saying whatever is on his mind no matter what it is. Even making some rude, suggestive, lewd, and other types comments with a grin and watch everyone's reactions as it gives him a good laugh. He also causes problems for his ladies in waiting as he always runs off and hides away. Making them search for him while he does whatever he wants. Though he makes sure to hold his tongue when Gash and children are around.

Killer is very comfortable and close with Cross, Horror, and Dust. He loves his child Arch with all his soul. Always playing with Arch and taking good care of them. As he fears that he might lose his child like he lost his brother.

With Nightmare he is very grateful of him. For not only saving his child but always checking up on Arch and Mo. Even though Nightmare doesn't think anyone notices, he does. He tries to get on the dark skeletons nerves and get the other to loosen up some. Sometimes when he finds Nightmare passed out, after tiering himself out from working hard in saving someone's life, he tries to use his old lock picking skills to see if he can get the old restrains off of the other skeleton. So far he has yet to success in freeing the other.

Hired Killer

Hi! Hello! Welcome to my revamped AU of Killer! :D With idea assistance from @kiok0r0!

Warning: Loss of control, The Entity, unfair deals, murder, no mercy, etc.

So, to start, it's just a normal every day... No Mercy Run where Frisk is killing everyone and everything. This is the uhhhhhhh well, lost count, time for Sans. He was fed up with seeing his loved ones die over and over again.

That's when the Entity appeared and offered him a deal. Power to kill the human, but it has to get something in exchange. So, he made the deal like a fool.

He killed the human, but the Entity took what it wanted. The souls of his loved ones while using him like a puppet.

He was, understandably, distraught and angry and demanded to know why and the Entity simply didn't respond. Now, he was a puppet to this Entity to kill whoever it wished whenever it wished. Until he had a full, intense breakdown which caused the shattering of his AU and made him lose all of his memories.

That was when Dusk found him and put a higher deal on him over the Entity. The Entity is still trying to regain control.

Killer had to met Dusk during his prime revenge era and was more than happy to help him. He had a sort of disconnect with most of his empathy, but he had a strict rule on killing children. However, when the truce happened, Killer felt sort of aimless and chose to try and find a way to live and atone for things he can't even remember.

However, he is still all alone and he genuinely misses people he never even met and greatly envies that Dagger has Wraith.

...But who's to say what happened to his Papyrus.

Apothecary AU more random ideas 3

More random blurb ideas. My mind just likes to come up with random ideas. So here's some more random Apothecary AU thoughts/ideas. Especially since I've got no clue what I'll be keeping, what'll be scrapped, or what'll be changed and an idea used for something else.

Also I'm still deciding on if I should make this Apothecary AU as a comic or just publish it as a fanfiction. I'm still debating on it. Especially since if I just make it as a comic that'll take a lot of time and I need to type up everything first. Make sure things stay consistent and all that. That and if it do it as a comic, we'll that'll take a lot of time to work on.

Idea 12

What if I had Nim be a spirit or even some type of yoki that Cinders (the new name I've given to Dust Sans) accidentally interacts with. Like one night while working on trying to communicate with the spirits he manages to some how find Nim's spirit.

So if this idea doesn't go that far it would be an interesting interaction between the two. Like even something as simple as Cinders staring at the spirit or yoki of Nim as she stares at him or at Nightmare... or maybe Cinders sees them hanging around Nightmare after one of his sessions.

Idea 13

Since I'm having it to where Xrisk isn't much of a fighter. Maybe during one of their training days (since Gash would want them to learn how to defend themselves) that Xara pretends to be them so they can get out of training. Or at the very least tries to.

Idea 14

Killer liking to sneak out and go for late night rides. Exploring moon lit areas and looking for cats. Gathering more and more to add to his adorable cat army.

... I can't help myself XD

Killer grinning. "Look at this kitten I found~"

Cross silently staring. "That's cat number 38... The army grows."

Cinders raised a brow. "Cross you forgot that like 2 of the cats are pregnant right?"

Cross glances at Cinders. "... the army continues to grow."

... Okay this idea is gonna be canon cause it's just funny XD

Idea 15

I'm thinking of maybe playing around with Nightmare and more of his emotional side. With him so closed off and everything, he others don't really see much emotion from him.

Since Nightmare was taken from his home and life at a very young age there isn't much about it that he remembers. So sometimes he may have moments where something brings up those old memories. Getting him to just forget everything around him and try to figure out why this random thing reminds him of something that he can't at all remember.

Idea 16

One of the few friends within the X-Empire walls that Nightmare's kind of made is with Core. The small child always going to Nightmare to talk about stories they've heard about the empire and just be a little trouble maker.

Idea 17

Slash having his own little secret garden or maybe have him secretly be a collector of something.

Idea 18

Been thinking about some ideas for the guards. Aside from like routes and stuff they do. But some of the relationships and interactions some of them have with others.

Idea 19

With their being other empires around the X-Empire. I'm wondering how I want all their relations to be. Who's an enemy who's an allie... maybe work on a map? Will probably have to take a picture of Japan and figure that out later.
