Diary Entries [Part 1]

A dusty, torn old book sits in Killer's hands. The ink on the yellowed paper has long since dried, and there are prominent tears in the leather covering- almost as if someone had been in the process of shredding through it before having to abandon it quickly.

Overcome by curiosity, he flicked it open to the first page.

Day 1

A new day has dawned, and with it, comes an... interesting discovery.

All that experimentation with the dead royal's determination has... well. It had side effects.

An infection. Not unlike what I've heard Frisk describe during their genocide routes- an urge to kill, despite the logic that it wasn't necessary, or important in any capacity. It didn't help anyone, but it was alluring. Something to fixate on.

(Killer could feel himself cringing slightly as he read it.)

It's infected Undyne so far. King Asgore has sent me out on yet another mission to track down the infection, since I'm the only one, apparently, that can CHECK SOULs to find the traces. (Admittedly though- I don't really know what I'm looking for.)

Naturally, Alphys is pretty distraught about Undyne- having had a crush on her for who knows how long.

The uh- we don't know what stage the infection is, or what the stages are defined as- but it's... shown pretty prominently that, while Undyne's mentally there and her body hasn't changed at all, she's...

hungry.

Not for food, or in a cannibalistic way. For EXP.

She can't be trusted outside of her cell- she nearly ripped Dogamy's arm off earlier for getting too close.

She seems confused about her own actions, too, but not...

remorseful. She didn't even flinch or blink.

Just...

(Killer gets the sense it took a while for the author to continue)

... like it was natural. Slightly confused, because she knows she hadn't felt it before, but not concerned.

anti has this fun little ability (due to not being a monster) that allows him to switch between human and skeleton monster

he's far, far more intimidating as a skeleton

does it have angst potential? yes absolutely

is killer also going to be infinitely safer with anti around? also yes

why is that, would you ask?

anti comes from a highly dangerous corrupted AU where every second of his life is used for battling. he's a machine- a well-oiled one at that- and highly effective at doing his job.

anti's also like one big chipper guard dog who would hesitate to decapitate someone with a companionable grin on his face

anti can kill guardians- he can kill gods. he's done it before, and that fun little ability of his (to explode/manipulate organic material- takes LV or EXP to do though, since his universe works differently) is no joke.

is anti entirely healthy for killer? probably not... completely

anti has a lot of issues. while he's exceedingly gentle and devoted to those he likes, there's also a very real possibility of him getting kicked up into areas in his mind that shouldn't be messed around with

plus there's the whole thing where he just. can't tell killer anything about his current AU- or the uh...

"group"

he's in.

of course killer has issues with anti, too

especially when anti's only reaction to hearing about his Nightmare is to just.
