"killin' it" final review! ⭐️

killin' it: it's a pretty fun title track. it has the blockbuster production and instrumentals, and it's 2 minutes and 56 seconds of p1 bragging about how cool and stylish they are lmao. the chorus and horn-heavy section of the instrumentals are my favorite parts about the track.

late night calls: i really like the beat, that kind of tropical/island latin guitar-trap/pop kind of beat (idk.)??? once again my favorite part about this was the chorus, i loveeee keeho's voice in this. the way he sings "sound of you and me" makes me wanna flyyyyyy idk!!!!

i really liked the end of the post-chorus as well "late night calls so sweet, just tell me you love me" like yeeeeeee there's something so sweet about the way it's sung and the soft island beat in the back just compliments it so well <3

everybody clap: okay so this the "party" track but tbh the pre-chorus hyped me up more than the actual chorus lmao 😂. "do thangs, do thangs" like yeaaaa i was nodding, i was vibing. otherwise this song fell kinda flat for me, but who knows it may grow on me !!!!! things love to grow on me !!!!

love story: OH MY GOD YASSSSSXSDDDSJSJSKSNSJSISNSKSI EVERYBODY SHUT UP !!!!!!!!

from the lyrics, to the melody, to their harmonies, to the instrumentals, everything - GORGEOUSSS 🤩!

i have noooo idea who wrote the lyrics but my god did they leave their heart(s) on the track because the lyrics told such a touching and relatable story and they were SO descriptive like i was GAGGED. this is old taylor swift type of pen writing y'all and i'm NAWT lying.

the sweet and romantic vocals and instrumentals my goddddd they brought all the feels with this one. i really enjoyed the layering and background vocals of the post chorus like this song just felt really....complete. it's such a nice song.

countdown to love: oh that mfing post chrous YES GAWD 😍😍! it's short but it's so good!

ooouu okay i really really liked the end of the verse with i think jeongseob(??)'s rap, his tempo and delivery fit really well. verse 3 and bridge ate as well!! it's a very fun song!

(it also kind of reminds me of windows down by big time rush but anyways--)

emergency: the beat for this is insaaaane, the amount of beat switches in this worked very well and made the song very fun. once again, that p1 pre-chrous ate. keeho on the bridge toooo yeee.

2nite: p1 brought the funk with this one! it's a pretty well done song and it did make me dance.

let me love you: okay so this had so much potential. i would have loved it if it sounded more cohesive, but it kind of sounds all over the place. the pre-and-post-choruses were the best parts of the song to me.

street star: this song was pretty good! the choruses and verses were pretty solid. the beat was good too.

i see u: AYYYYYYYYYY OKAY NOW WE COOKING AGAIN 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭

p1 made me fall in love with their vocal delivery again and the lyrics and the beat/melody/harmony was so sweet and romantic! i've noticed that p1 does romantic songs really well, and i usually end up enjoying that kind of sound from them. they kill it eeeeeverytime from what i've heard so far. the chorus had me kicking blushing twirling my hair frrrr.

OVERALL it was a pretty solid album. p1 definitely has a tried and true formula with their music and even though this album did not gag me from start to finish it was still enjoyable. i'd listen to this from start to finish without complaint and imagine a bajillion romantic fanfic plots whenever "love story" and "i see u" come on, AMEN!
