My opinion on Jungwon speaking out as a fan since I-land.

Jungwon, I am so proud of you for speaking up about everything going on. I’m sorry that not everyone can accept the reality that Enhypen is now 6. I wish you guys were given the respect you deserve moving forward. The six members stayed by engenes side and no matter what I will continue to stay by enhypen’s side.

At the end of the day a whole lot (not all) of the Ot7 arguments lie in huge amounts of parasocial entitlement. The idea that as fans we need to know every single detail about what happened. We don’t need to know that information, the boys have been transparent that enhypen is now SIX! This doesn’t mean you can’t miss them as seven, but Jungwon is asking for the basic respect of the other boys.

“But the company is forcing them!” Do you actually know that though? Or do you want to believe the company is heavily mistreating the group because it no longer fits the image of what you believe they should be? Engenes have always had a problem with change and parasocial entitlement. All six members chose to stay and continue as a group. It’s been four months, it’s time to accept that maybe Heeseung genuinely wanted a solo career and his long term vision no longer fit and that’s okay.

To Enhypen, I’m wishing a brighter and bigger future for you. I will stay supporting you no matter what. I hope others will hear Jungwon’s words and do the same.
