Killing Boredom During COVID19 Pandemic

From a happy social life down to quarantines and lock down, all of us were not prepared for these. All of the sudden we were locked into our homes and can’t do the things we usually do. So, instead of complaining and being negative about it, let’s say we choose to be on the other side. Here’s a list of the things you can do:

1. Take some extra sleep

First, you have to figure out what you should do. But wait, I am sure before all these happened, you were too busy working or studying. Come on! Give yourself a break by taking some extra sleep while you are making your plans for the next coming days.

2. Make a To-Do List

After organizing your thoughts and observing the environment carefully,make a list of the things that you need to do. Try to see if some parts of your house needs some attention and repairs.

3.   The Green Thumb Movement

Why not make those imagination turn into reality? I know you’ve been dreaming of a beautiful landscape in front of your house or a cool place for reading under that mango tree. It is also a great way for self discovery and a family bonding activity. 

4. Cooking Showdown

Staying at home makes you hungry. It’s just that way. Whether you are alone or with your family, you need to eat.  So now is the time to be a chef and could be a start up for a business after the pandemic. Why not? Coconut?

5. Develop a hobby

Hobbies, like playing a musical instrument, painting or writing a blog, are beautiful ways of killing this boredom. You might also want to take a look on the books that you bought from the bookstore and see if you want to start reading again. 

Truly, this time tests all our ability to stay calm and remain optimistic. Knowing that it is beyond our control, we might want to be engaged in helpful activities and stay COVID free.
