Of course, Khlyen had a back-up plan, he reaches out from the grave and orchestrates plans.

Dutch now has a fleet because D’avin has fleet (with no pilots) and we know D’avin’s loyalty is to Dutch. And this elevates Dutch from princess to Queen, in a way (tying in Delle Seyah’s motivational speech to Aneela).

And Zeph is part of the crew and of course Johnny gets sulky there is a new nerd but Dutch reframes this for Johnny and suggests that Johnny should mentor Zeph.

Delle Seyah continues to be bewildered and Aneela confirms that Delle Seyah did have Hullen blood in her (maybe not Arkyn blood?) prior to her ‘death’ (again, of course, that’s why there was a doctor there and we know there were Hullen experiments last season). Aneela had Delle Seyah transfused with what Aneela considers a better stock. Delle Seyah is definitely going to have Aneela’s so called advisor’s head on a spike when she gets the chance.

Delle Seyah’s transformation from Human to Hullen seems a little different? She still does seem to have human emotions still, and she still seems to consider herself loyal to Qresh.

Aneela is... certainly temperamental, he slaughtered almost all her people (much to Delle Seyah’s horror) after receiving news of Khlyen’s death. Aneela is also aware of Dutch and seems to really hate her and not just because she was the reason Khlyen died.

Delle Seyah is using all her resources to ingratiate herself to Aneela, and that’s when Delle Seyah gives her a pep talk, and what a talk.

"Everything falls. From fathers to Empires. But we are queens and queens rise."

I’m still a little thrown that they’ve chosen to go galactic so fast when there’s so many things going on especially with what happened to Old Town and Pawter last season. But this episode really does show the potential of the coming galactic war that Dutch is pushing into being.
