I enjoyed the Ducktales valentine's comic! If anyone wants my full thoughts, LMK.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to grab my Magica plushie and sob uncontrollably for an hour or two.

20 for ojitooru? <3
20. things you said that I wasn’t meant to hear for ojitooru
Mashirao has worked very, very hard to make sure that Tooru never feels like he is looking over her. She’s invisible, he couldn’t see her if he tried, but he never wants her to feel like he doesn’t know she’s there. He’s become hyper aware of her presence, always keeping a lookout for any telltale sign of Tooru in the hallways and classrooms and hero training surprises. He’s attuned himself to her and he thought that he finally didn’t need to jump at every hazy shadow.
Then they get put into dorms.
When they aren’t wearing their uniforms they all wear their every day clothes, which wouldn’t be a problem except that he’s gotten used to watching for gloves and her uniform skirt. Watching for a scrap of tanktop or the catch of a disembodied flipflop on the carpet puts Mashirao back to square one when it comes to his Tooru awareness.
Honestly, he’s doing okay with it. He hasn’t missed a chance to say hello to her once and she still believes him to be the only person who will never forget that she’s there.
This is how he knows that Tooru is in Uraraka’s room. It’s his finely honed sixth sense for Tooru that makes him pause just outside of Uraraka’s open door. A second later Tooru’s voice floats through the air and Mashirao feels smug that he didn’t even have to look to know that Tooru is there.
Then he hears what she’s saying.
“I just feel bad for Mashirao-kun,” Tooru says, and she sounds small, “he works so hard and I wish there was something I could do to make myself easier to see for him.”
“Tooru-chan,” Uraraka says, comforting.
“Sometimes he nearly misses me, did you know that?” Tooru sighs. “He catches himself but I can tell that he has to be on edge just to notice me.”
Mashirao closes his eyes and breaths slowly and calmly. Here he thought he was being subtle, that he was making it look effortless, and the entire time Tooru knew how hard it was. Mashirao does not get upset, he refuses to, he just lets the knowledge wash over him. He’ll think about it in more detail later. Right now all that matters is that Tooru sounds sad.
“Ojiro-kun wants you to be happy, to feel seen,” Uraraka says wisely.
“I just don’t want him to eventually hate me for how hard he has to work.” Tooru sighs again.
Mashirao shakes and composes himself, then pokes his head around the corner.
“Tooru?” he asks loudly. “Did I hear you in here?”
Tooru squeaks and jumps. Mashirao looks directly at where Tooru’s face probably is. “Mashirao-kun?”
“I was looking for you,” he lies, “wondering if you wanted to play some video games before Bakugou and Kirishima steal the TV again.”
“Uh, how much did you hear?”
Mashirao takes a second to squint at her. Something tells him that she would be upset to know that he heard her so he lies again. “Not much. Something about work?”
Maybe it’s the air in the room easing to a lighter pressure but Mashirao is pretty sure that Tooru is smiling.
“Unless I’m interrupting something?” Mashirao glances to Uraraka to check her reaction. She’s regarding him thoughtfully.
“No, I think it’s fine. Is it okay if I leave, Ochako-chan?” Tooru asks.
Uraraka smiles. “Of course. You two have fun.”
Mashirao waits for Tooru’s clothes to pick themselves up off of Uraraka’s bed and make their way over to him. He holds out a hand and he feels her invisible fingers tangle in his. He squeezes lightly, always fascinated by the feeling of her invisible skin under his.
“Bye, Uraraka-san,” Mashirao calls over his shoulder as Tooru pulls him away. If Uraraka sends him a knowing look Tooru never has to know.
