I have this headcanon that Gon never even considered being with anyone but Killua. It's always been him, no matter the situation. It's Killua, and always has been. He's always loved Killua, always wanted to be with him, and he's never even given it a second thought. He thinks it's obvious, but it's not.

I want to write about my headcanon but I don't know how to start it. I'm so much better at writing Killua because he's a flustered baby filled with angst. Ugh.

KilluGon making a completely innocent "Let's get married when we're (x) years old if we're still single by then".

I’M VERY LATE TO THIS I’M SO SORRY! I’m not the best writer but I’m so tempted to write this one out...SO I WILL. Enjoy!!

Gon’s promises were always simple-minded and easy to keep. It could be as simple as promising to meet up the next day or promising to eat breakfast together, sealing each one with a press of their thumbs and a hearty laugh from Gon (considering Killua would flush every time).

It wasn’t until they were lazing around in Gon’s room that Killua realized he was itching to speak. A lot had been on his mind; most of it being Gon. These were thoughts he’d usually push aside, but the mood inside the room was private and safe. He felt like he could speak. So he did.

“Gon, do you ever think about..”

The island boy was next to him in a second, eyes wide enough to encourage Killua’s continuation. “Do you ever think about marriage?”

Gon blinked, as if the answer was already obvious. “I’d need to train and get better first before I think about stuff like that, Killua.”

“I know that,” he relented. He already had his answer. Then Gon spoke up again. “But when I’m older, I think I could!”

Killua didn’t understand the sudden ball of words lodged in his throat. An awkward “Cool,” was all he could manage. Something bothered him. It was impossible to decipher it when the problem was sitting right next to him.

“Hey, Killua. If we don’t have someone to marry when we’re older, why don’t we just marry each other?”

Killua nearly jumped out of his skin. His expression must have been just as embarrassing as his thoughts because Gon was having a field day about it. His laughter mimicked sunrays and fun days on whale island, filling Killua’s lungs with warmth until he puffed it all out in a laugh too. “You’re so weird.”

“But think about it! We would both know we have someone to marry!”

“But why would you want to marry me? I’m the last person you should be promising this to.”

“But because it’s Killua, I want to promise!”

Killua paused, took a breath, and looked away. Gon didn’t stop. “I can only think about making this promise with Killua.”

And so they sealed the promise with a link of their pinkies and the press of their thumbs once more. Gon’s smile was worth the heat in his cheeks.

KILLUGON HEADCANON

Ok but imagine this:

One morning Killua decides to leave Alluka to Leorio so he can go to Whale island for a week to be with Gon, after they separated. Also he wanted to suprise Gon with that...

He is already on the island and now he is going to knock on the door, knowing that Mito-san will be the one who opens the door, beacuse it's too early and Killua knows that Gon sleeps at that time. But suddenly, he hears someone jumping from the window from the 2nd floor, screaming "KILLUAA!!", and as he looks up to where the sound is coming, he sees Gon with the biggest smile jumping into him and hugging him on the ground. Killua, who is fullfil of joy, asks Gon how did he know that he is there. (SPOILER: because Gon doesn't have Nen anymore, he can't sense someone's aura: END OF SPOILER)

Gon replies: "I was sleeping but then i was woken up by your scent ".

Killua, smiling: "So you still remember it?..." and hugs him tight.

Then they get up. Mito-san gives them breakfast. After their stomachs are full, they go to their favourite places from the island, having fun together. As the night falls, they lay down and while watching the stars they talk to eachother about their adventures when they weren't together....

hiiii! of course i have ahhhhhh! saw this ask the minute i woke up and i love it because i can’t stop thinking about killugon dating the whole damn day! but i’m writing this while i overtime at work bcos i can’t hold it in any longer ;-;

ok the day (or night) they made it official, they’re flustered little beans that can’t wipe wide smiles off their faces. gon can’t contain his happiness he kept telling killua “i love you!“ while on the way home and not letting go of his hand. they hold hands so tight if either were an ordinary person their knuckles would break

gon kisses killua’s cheek before parting ways that night. he didn’t want to kiss him yet because he wanted it to be *special*. killua, on the other hand, wanted a kiss on the lips (damn it, gon!!), but ok he maybe some other time. he had to calm his freakin heart first from beating too fast

they wouldn’t be able to sleep. they’d keep talking all night and dawn

if they’re not talking, they’re thinking of each other. all the damn time. they would associate everything they own and see with each other. oh, a leaf *gon < 3*. oh, the clouds are pretty today *killua is prettier*

gon, for the life of him, just WON’T SHUT UP about how he loves killua. this boy sends “i love you i love you i love you” texts at random times of the day. killua LOVES it but he always replies with “yeah yeah i know idiot......... i love you too” killua’s i love yous are like a drug to gon. they feel like he rarely says it so when killua does say it, gon’s high -- so high he almost breaks his phone in his hands from giggling too much, or almost crumples killua into a tight hug

gon showers killua with kisses on every inch of his face ASIDE from his lips. doesn’t kiss killua on the lips YET. he keeps telling himself that he’s saving it for the *perfect moment* BUT IN FACT he’s a nervous little shit. gon feels like he would EXPLODE when he finally kisses killua on the lips. damn, just looking at him makes him want to melt. so... he doesnt yet. not yet not yet

KILLUA WILL BE THE ONE TO GO IN FOR THE FIRST KISS.

i picture it as something like this: walking home from their date, gon just won’t STOP saying “i love you” -- partly bcos gon loves seeing the color of killua’s cheeks when he tells him “i love you”, and partly bcos he likes to tease him. he says “say it back say it back say it back :D” killua would be like “no dumbass shut up” (teasingly) so gon keep saying it and mid-talking killua just smacks his lips onto his and says “that’ll shut you up idiot!” GON IS 1000% STUNNED he doesn’t move for SECONDS and killua will start to worry but then gon pulls him in for another kiss and stealing kisses will be their thing from then on

LOTS OF HUGS. holding hands will never be enough

RANDOM BITES. gon will bite killua’s arm, killua will bite gon’s shoulder, in between cuddling gon will bite killua’s cheek, killua will bite gon’s nose and ear FOR NO REASON OTHER THAN BECAUSE A KISS JUST ISN’T ENOUGH lmao

AND LASTLY (not the last in my head believe me i have tons of headcanons), they’d always look out for each other from the corners of their eyes, from across the room while they’re at a party, while eating. killua sees a crumb on gon’s cheek so he wipes it off with a thumb while gon’s busy talking to leorio over dinner. gon brushes away strands of hair from killua’s face while killua’s busy playing a videogame aksdfjdskfjkdslfj

look at me getting carried away lol like i said i have tons of these on my plate but this answer is already getting longer so i think i need to stop myself here HAHA thank you so much for sending this ask. i love it i love talking and thinking about killugon in a relationship because the there’s so much FLUFF potential and i really think that they’d make a really cute couple!

Headcanon that when Alluka and Gon go sledding together down a hill, Killua uses Godspeed to keep up with them by foot. He could easily catch up without it but he enjoys the way Gon and Alluka’s eyes widen with delight and how their laughter peaks to new heights when his hair does the Thing

Imagine Gon tucking Killua’s hair behind his ear for the first time. They could just be laughing, playing around like they usually do, and Gon just has this sudden urge to reach over and get those few strands of hair away from Killua’s starry eyes. They both stop breathing when Gon acts on the impulse. Two worlds that revolve around each other come to a halt and Gon smiles. Killua turns red. And that’s how Gon’s habit began.
