This is a question that gets asked all the time. People want a reliable good bike that’s not hi-tensile steel, with decent components and sealed bearing hubs. The general answer is pretty easy, Mercier Kilo TT from bikes direct. For a long time these frames were also used for the KHS Flite 100, the kilo’s were just re-branded but it’s the same bike. If you’re new and just wanna get rolling, I definitely recommend one if you don’t have enough cash to afford something at your LBS. Make sure you get the right size though! You can figure out what size you need by searching for a fit calculator and having a friend measure you.
Goodbye Kilo
I am actually thinking about selling my Mercier Kilo TT. It's a 55 cm and will include the seat post, seat collar, threaded headset, and threaded fork. Not too sure on how much I'm going to sell it for.
