The line, just as its inspiration, emitted a dark but enchanting and ultimately powerful message. The crowd appeared entranced by the sharp designs that slithered one-by-one out onto the runway to the blaringly loud industrial rock music. The overall feel –from the warehouse space the show was located in at Café Rouge to the model’s tightly-wound knots of hair– was feminine but simultaneously, the complete antithesis of girly.
