With the deaths of Akiyu and the arch dragons I'd just like to remind everyone that there is still 1 elf alive that might be able to provide some valuable info regarding Aaravos, Aditi and perhaps much, much more:

Kimdael was the most dangerous elf in Xadia prior to the discovery of Aaravos' betrayal, knew and was bound to Aditi and her descendants, has faced off against Janai, Amaya, Runaan, Ethari and Rayla and is essentially a vampiric serial killer.

So she is definitely going to play a bigger role in any sort of continuation of this story. She could easily be a threat for multiple seasons due to how powerful she is, not to mention her connections to multiple characters in this world and the fact that every arch dragon that hunted her down is now dead. The big questions are whether she sees Aaravos as an ally or a foe and if there is any kind of deal that anyone could strike with her so that she could reveal all that she knows from 300 years ago.

I can see Janai and Amaya trying to strike a deal with her, while the Moon family would just want to stop her once and for all.

And with Runaan and Ethari living in the Silvergrove and Rayla now free to return there whenever she wants it would be very easy to create a situation where they see Kimdael again and start hunting her down. Plus it would be great to see a Blood moon festival in the show, even if it was just briefly.
