And now for something nobody asked for! The floor plan to River Heights, the apartment in my story Harm! Yay! Drawings NOT to scale. I’m not that good.
First picture is the bottom floor and lobby. I didn’t draw them in, but there’s four staff rooms, and a dozen more in the basement (don’t worry, they’re really nice rooms). The staff is mainly prostitutes who need better/more work, and only three of them need to live in River Heights. The do the cooking, cleaning and general maintenance.
Floors 2-22 are resident floors. Each floor holds up to 37 people. Singles hold one person, doubles hold two people, and family rooms hold up to four. In general, siblings and family share rooms, but if a kid asks, they can share a room with a friend. Each room has a bed, a dresser, and a desk. There’s also the common room. The curvy bit is all windows, and there’s couches and shelves with board games. Jason is saving up to get each floor a game console and television as well. Not all of the floors are occupied yet, with floors 2-6 being almost to capacity.
These rooms don’t have any cooking supplies, but the kitchen is available to anyone who wants to cook or have a midnight snack.
Floor 23 is Jason’s floor. He doesn’t use all of it, but the three northward rooms are his. He didn’t start the library until he was sure he was staying at River Heights (not until after the reno), so there’s not a lot in there yet. The armory is mostly guns and knives, all safely stored and locked away. The chances of a kid getting to them are very slim, but he’s not taking his chances. He keeps any and all explosives in an abandoned building across the street. The elevator doesn’t go to this floor, and the stair access is blocked, drywalled over and painted nicely.
