I know I'm crazy, but does stories 2 feel like its narrative was written for an entirely new cast, but then had the returning 1 characters slapped onto it to make the game a sequel? Does anyone else get this vibe??

Me *plotting out an orginal comic knowing no one sees or cares about my orginal art*: oooh boy this is my big break.....
I think my Mom might be trying to set me up with one of her coworkers. Not 100% sure that’s what she’s doing, but she has told me on more than one occasion that he’s looking for a girlfriend. Now I’m kinda sorta looking for a partner. Not very actively since I’m sorta “meh” about it. Like it would be nice, but at the same time I’m in no rush. Mom has also yet to show me what the dude looks like. :/ She has told me he’s on the dating site Match, but I’m not about to sign up for another dating site. Hell, I’m barely on OkCupid.
People really like Insta-Gib on Quake Champions huh?
Worst Part(s) About Being In A Dead Fandom
Same old — but still incredible — fan art. Shitty old tv shows / animations because no one loves it enough to make remakes. No current quality fanfics. Forgetting parts of the storyline because you’re dying with the fandom. Questioning why you’re fan. Not enough fanfics with interesting AUs. People literally writing the series word for word on their “fanfics” and adding a character that literally does not do shit.
ever hear something about someone from your past that makes you go: "ah yes that person was shitty all along"
I only had four friends to begin with this year. Two of which were "distant" friends (not geographically, but in like talking daily and companionship wise). The two other friends I lost over the summer. One of them due to a lack of healthy environment and abusive people in her environment (we'll call her Blue). The other due to her change in religion (we'll call her Dearest).
Now I'm down to the two distant friends. One of them (we'll call her Flower) and I have been talking more recently, which is super nice. We just aren't at the talking regularly and actually hanging out point. My other friend (let's call her Angry), well, I've been trying to reach out to her more. Trying to message funny things and just strike up conversations more but I feel like I must be annoying her because I've not gotten much of a response. In the past she says she doesn't pay attention to her phone or doesn't ever check messenger which is fair but I struggle because I know she's constantly messaging and having discussions on Discord with a group of online friends. (Am I a bit jealous? Perhaps. I'm still mulling it over but I think it is more the sadness of knowing that we used to be that close and are not at this point. Like we used to message every day, we lived with each other at one point. There's a lot of history) Regardless there's not much energy coming in on her side.
This is the first time in my adult life that I don't have a very close best friend. I'm not sure what to do with myself.
"Oh man an interest checker will fix all my problems with interactions!!"
Nobody filled it out-
