it’s your first autumn/halloween with itadori yuuji, with many more to come! how do you two start the season off right? with a pumpkin patch date of course!
you guys walk in immediately with a plan, to get the best pumpkins there, and win the the pumpkin carving contest! yes gojo is holding a pumpkin carving contest, because of course he is...
“hey yuuji what about this one!” “no its not orange enough!” you almost throw the pumpkin in question at him because what does he mean “not orange enough” .... idiot boyfriend aside, you both make the most of this date! the crisp fall air, surrounded by pumpkins, while you’re with your amazing, idiot boyfriend, creates this cozy atmosphere that you can’t help but soak in.
yuuji is, of course, taking the pumpkin choosing very seriously, and you’re just... there for moral support tbh. holding onto his hand, and reassuring him that all of the pumpkins are great! to which he keeps responding “noooo, they can’t be great, they have to be perfect!” the two of you walk to a more secluded part of the patch, and you see a few pumpkins that catch your eye
after pointing them out to yuuji, he decides they’re perfect and you are the ultimate pumpkin picker (he is so odd)... though it may seem this date was just you being dragged around by a pink haired man child, it was really a cute date. getting away from the loud, busy, city and going to the countryside for the day. it was a new experience for you, and yuuji could tell.
itadori’s eyes kept coming back to you, because he swore, you looked radiant with him in this environment. he thought you were so enthusiastic over the pumpkins, the sienna colored leaves, and the beginning of the autumn season. he couldn’t help taking many, many photos of you, and of course posting the both of you on his story. forever appreciative of his s/o that somehow puts up with him, and will spend an hour and a half at a god forsaken pumpkin patch with him, while he tries and fails to find the perfect pumpkin.
what he doesn’t know however, is that for itadori yuuji, you’d wait as long as forever. spend days in that stupid patch with him, and you wouldn’t trade it for the world. because he is the reason why you’re radiant in any environment with him.
