There isn't too much to say! It's just an AU where Pax made all of his creations properly and everyone's happy, with Seeker being the Archivist instead. There are casual shenanigans - Seeks likes to pull pranks and Architect reacts poorly - but overall it's just a slice-of-lifer with everyone getting the life they deserved in canon.

Andreil AU where they meet the same way my parents met nearly 30 years ago

I wrote this months ago when I was telling @sous-le-signe-de-la-lune how my parents met like in a stupid romcom (they were in the same painting workshop for months and one day they bumped into each other on the street and my mom  had a grocery bag full of beers and kinder eggs and my dad found it funny so he asked her out) and she suggested I made an AU for Andreil (to what I never say no), so here it is :

For the purpose of this story, Andrew and Neil live in Paris (yes, yes, this is the most cliché ever I know, but we’re french so... that’s still a huge cliché yeah)

Andrew is here because he was in Germany with Nicky but one day he decide to go for a weekend to France for a break (of the lovebirds that are Nick and Erik) and now it’s been months and he’s still here

He found a job as a concierge

The residents are not too annoying and it’s free rent for him so a good deal

He spend most of his day in his apartment, on the roof, wondering in the city, ignoring all the texts from Nicky

One day he enters an art gallery and really like the work of the artist so he decides to sign up for their painting workshop, since he has nothing better to do

Neil is in France because he couldn’t stay in the US after the release of his father and he didn’t wanted to stay in England with his uncle

He works has a translator for some company which made sports equipment

The first couple months he doesn’t do anything besides working and going home, but after weeks he’s kind of bored and also Matt ask him all the time to go out with him and his friends

(Matt work at the company, I don’t know what he do but it involves sports I guess)

So finally Neil said yes but he doesn’t really know to what he said yes

And it’s how Neil find himself at a painting workshop every Thursday evening

He’s not really good at painting but he likes hanging out with Matt and his friends

(The friends are obviously Dan, Allison, Renee and Seth)

(Yes, Seth because I love him and I love him even more alive)

It’s Neilso he doesn’t trust them but also there just a weird funny group of french people

Andrew likes the painting workshop even with the weird annoying groupe of french people who sucks at painting in the back

He just ignores them most of the time

He definitely not remarked the pretty boy who seems more like him than the rest of the group

The only person with who he accepts to talk besides the prof is Renee

So one Friday, Andrew is on the roof and he receives text after text from Nicky so he finally decides to read what his cousin wants

It turns out Nicky is at his door

“SURPRISE”

Andrew thought about spending the night on the roof

But it’s cold so he changes his mind

He lets Nicky in his apartment with Erik to go at grocery store (ou le “G20″ comme on dit par chez nous) for beers

At the register there is the usual stand of gums and others candies

He takes 5 boxes of Kinder Surprise

because it’s going to be a long weekend for him

He returns slowly to his building, savoring the alone time before joining the german lovebirds

The street is empty so he don’t pay too much attention to his surroundings

He turns at the corner

and suddenly he bumps into something and drops his bag beers and kinder eggs

So he looks up to see the face of the next to be corpse and

it’s pretty boy from painting workshop !!!!!

Neil who was just running like every morning and evening because Neil

(I love one (1) boy)

Is really surprised when he’s stopped in his run

and even more surprised when he recognizes the guy from the painting workshop

The guy who doesn’t talk to anyone except the prof and Renee

The same guy who seems to want to murder him right now but Neil is not afraid because, again, Neil

(the though of him being a Butcher’s man cross his mind but it would be a really shitty plan for the guy to sign at the same art class than him and wait weeks before make a move, and for this move to be that)

“Sorry, I didn’t see you” Neil says in french

But Andrew being Andrew, he respond in german

I don’t know what he respond exactly but it supposed to be mean and not understood by Neil

Of course Neil understand and respond in german with a grin

It tooks Andrew by surprise even so he doesn’t show it externally

Internally it’s just

“Fuck I’m gay.”

Neil looks down to the grocery bag

“Sorry about that” he says

Andrew doesn’t respond and just bends to pick up the bag

When he looks up again, Pretty Boy frown

“What are you going to do with beers and kinder ?” he ask 

It’s odd, even he can tell

It’s odd and kind of funny

Andrew just looks at him with a dead glare

“None of your business.”

And suddenly Neil take a pen and a little notebook out of his pocket and write something

It’s odd though Andrew

It’s odd and interesting

Once done with his notebook, Neil notices Andrew’s expression

“Oh yeah, I just wrote everything I want to do that I never did.” He explains

That explain nothing, wants to say Andrew but also I don’t care I don’t care I don’t care

“You want to bought kinder and beer ?” he finally ask when the other doesn’t seems to continue

“No. Well, maybe, but I don’t drink. I just never ate kinder surprise. I’d like to try that.”

What the fuck is this guy

But also, there is something in the way Pretty Boy is, it doesn’t add up

He seems like a lie

(ahah whaaaaaaaat)

And Andrew definitely doesn’t want to know why this guy never ate kinder surprise

Before he even thinks about it, he opens one of the boxes and he practically throws a kinder egg in the face of Pretty Boy

Neil catchs it, thanks to his “runner” reflexes

He observes the egg like it’s some kind of precious stone

Andrew wants to murder him, but Pretty Boy is now looking at him with the same expression he was looking at the kinder

Andrew decides it’s enough social interaction for the evening and takes off

The next Thursday, Neil installs his easel next to Andrew

He gets attatched to inanimate objects, usually they’re a shade of blue

He wears plastic bat wings on his back

He refers adults as, Squishy’s 

He is a very slow walker but ask him to run and he’ll zip right pass you 

Personality:

he’s really outgoing and tends to be over excitable but once he sees someone that’s uncomfortable he tends to either tone it down or generally just stay away from that person (usually its when their mean to him) He cracks jokes that don’t make sense to anyone but him.
