For as long as Felix avoided looking at Alice, she never once broke her gaze away from him. There was the occasional blinking, but she stayed as silent as he did, staring him down the whole time until the moment he spoke again. It seemed he didn’t take to her question as well as she expected. Personal, was it?

That was... probably an inappropriate saying to giggle after, but Alice didn’t care much for that. She was really only joking anyway. Mostly.
