@kindfair [ONE BED] a starter where our muses have to share the same bed.
it had been a summer of many ups and downs, but one thing russell wasn’t prepared for was falling in love during his stint at therapy and getting sober. of course he wasn’t to know that there was going to be a nanny for his therapist daughter in the same house that he had so kindly offered up to russell, certainly wasn’t to know that they would get along like a house on fire — but life had a strange way at throwing curveballs his way for the past few years. he and mj had been invited on the family holiday in the catskills as a last minute offer, and they’d both practically jumped at the chance.
after carrying their luggage up to the hotel room in which he only held one key for the both of them, that was when the penny dropped. one bedroom, two of them. part of him wants to laugh at the realisation, biting down on his cheek as he dropped their bags on the edge of the bed. “there’s only one bed, mary jane..” the dry laugh finally falls from his lips as he shakes his head slightly. “i can sleep on the bottom, or on the floor. whatever you’d prefer.” because the possibility of them sharing a bed was completely out of the question, right?
