Hey look! Old WIP of an animatic! I started this in April of last year and never got around to finishing it. The designs for Ayaka and Mizu are outdated anyway, and I'll probably end up redoing it all anyway, but I wanted to share the progress I had.
So, this is supposed to take place when Ayaka returns to her guild. While, Task Force is in the middle of helping Ziggy and Izzy and introducing them to the guild, Ayaka is trying to find the courage to face everyone again, and nearly backs out, but is encouraged by Kouki and Mizu to fight through her fear.
I had to do at least one Marceline song, since I imagine Ayaka sounding like her, and this one felt like the right one. When I redo it, the context might be entirely different, but I love this song too much to not have a finished animatic.
It's too bad I didn't even finish the first chorus, because it was almost through it. 😅
