TALES OF TIME: Prologue 22/23/24
The next submission will also be in this format! I decided to try adding a few panels this time. After that, we will have one regular scene, followed by two more written parts. It will be only comic pages from then on out.
I absolutely love Crystal and Jayden's dynamic and I'm so sad that I don't get to show it more in the comic. Still figuring out my mew style, my apologies <33

After arriving on the mainland from the Icy Area, Snow became accustomed to constantly hiding her true form with her illusions, after many pokemon on the southern end of the continent reacted negatively to her being a Zorua. She continued this upon arriving to Treasure Town, even having planned on joining the guild in a disguise. But when she found Celeste collapsed on the beach, Snow was so overcome with panic at seeing an unconscious pokemon that she'd forgotten to put up a disguise until it was too late
However, she was surprised to find that Celeste had no reaction to Snow's true appearance, and simply treated Snow like any other pokemon. Snow quickly figured that Celeste actually had no idea what a Zorua was, but seeing how trusting Celeste was of her despite her appearance gave Snow the courage to try and join the guild as her true self. As it turns out, most of the pokemon both within the guild and in Treasure Town can't even tell what kind of pokemon she is, considering she's a rare variant of an already rare pokemon
Snow uses this to her advantage, exclusively going by her name so that she's never asked for her species name, and vowing to herself to never use her illusions again, so that the town, the guild, and especially Celeste, never learn of what she really is
Have you used Mesprit?

As if getting brought into the future and nearly getting executed wasn't already bad for Snow, she's left to fight Spiritomb on her own after they possess both Grovyle and Celeste
Introducing Prisma, a character in Team Dawn that plays an important part in Snow's early life
While Snow was forbidden by her mother from leaving their home of Frostbitten Wood, that didn't stop her from sneaking out at night when her curiosity and desire for adventure became too much. It was on one of these excursions that she came across a herd of Amaura and Aurorus, and met a young Amaura named Prisma
The two of them quickly became friends, and started routinely meeting at night to play and get to know each other. Prisma in particular loved relaying stories her father told her from when he was an explorer, this being how Snow first learned of exploration teams, and what caused her dream of becoming one herself to take root
Inevitably, however, Snow's mother would finally catch her daughter sneaking out, and when she followed her and found out she was talking to a pokemon outside her pack, she immediately forbade Snow from ever meeting with Prisma again, marking the last time the two would ever see each other
