Blood. There is blood everywhere.

Kinfee stared at the stump just above his knee, his breathe shaky as he raise his gaze to meet the eyes of the purpleblooded woman standing above him with his robot leg in her hand.

Her teeth are gritted, lips forming a snarl, and her eyes are glowing red.

“I tried to be nice to you… I gave you food and a place to live in luxury, and this is how you repay me?! Do you know how many lowbloods dream  of a chance like this!”

There is so much. Blood. 

She suddenly look calm.

“You really thought… You’d get away like this, that I’d never find you?” she say in a sickening sweet voice. “How good that I got some extra help. You might remember her..?”

Another voice starts to speak:

Doupes… He felt his heart drop.

“You- He was innocent! I…”

The redblood ghost with long, flowing hair, appeared in front of him, floating just above him. He felt like her white, glowing eyes were staring right through him and he felt himself shiver.

“You locked me away Kinfee. After everything I did to you. She grabbed onto his shoulders, repeating his name louder each time, and he cried, struggling to get away - til the face staring down at him changed shape along with the voice… That sounded like… Looked like… 

Garuda..?

Gasping, as he was pulled out of the dream, he stared at the greenblood. She had an alarmed look over her face, her hands in a steady grip onto Kinfee’s shoulders.

“… G-garuda..? Where… I just…” he begun, looking around, then down at his legs where the metal of the robotic one gleamed in the light of the room.

“You were dreaming…” she said, letting go as he pulled himself back up. He barely even registered the look of worry over her face. He just nodded silently. Yes… He had been dreaming. It was just a dream. Nothing but a dream.

Normally, maybe he’d try to cover it up, joke, anything… But this time, he couldn’t bring himself to do anything more than pulling his legs up close and wrapping his arms around himself while staring into the wall.

The dream hanged over him still, each word clinging to him like a leech, and he felt sick. Had he eaten more the other night, maybe he’d actually puke. He wanted to. Like puking would let him get rid of all the sickening feelings that haunted him, make him feel some sort of relief.

He wasn’t sure… For how long he had been sitting there in silence, when he felt two arms gently wrapping around him. He tensed up at first, turning his head quickly with a haunted expression - like he was expecting it to be somebody else than the greenblood sitting next to him all this time.

But no… It really was just Garuda. Her embrace felt… Warm. Comforting even.

Slowly he turned to her, letting his head fall onto her shoulder and curling up just a bit closer while she held him. At least for a little while.

Tbh I can see Zamiir was the ugly duckling when he was little. Like a chubby lil kid and just burn all pictures attitude of his youth, and collet would probs tease him about it.

Collét thought he was a little girl when they met, then he wasn't....... He looked incredibly girly in other words.

I do like the thought of him as an ugly ducking though, maybe when he was even younger he used to be. :3c

Headcanon: Kinfee has lots of different wings so he can wear then for Halloween too. Like feathered wings for bird costumes, or skeleton wings for scary Death costumes.

The only pair of wings he got is the ones Soofer sewed for him as a gift once he had recovered from the blood loss when he lost his leg. He did have another pair before that, however they broke. vuv

That is really cute though, I can imagine him in that halloween outfit… :O
