【美國．阿拉斯加】KING ST – 簡單看看本地酒廠，罐子設計有看頭

從 Alyeska 回到 Anchorage 的行程很簡單，就是參觀當地的一家小酒廠。因為那天晚上還有展會的歡迎宴，一定要準持抵達，所以在酒廠也就簡單的聽聽介紹。

雖然 KING ST 酒廠的老闆有很細心的跟我們說明啤酒的釀製過程，但石先生也不算很好啤酒，所以口味中的濃淡苦甜還可以感覺得到，唯細數每種材料製作出來的啤酒有什麼不同就很難記得與說明了。

因為會喝的酒類都很多，所以每人都是一小杯淺嘗。當然能喝的外國人想要繼續喝是無限量的，可以一直加一直加，加到你喝不下為止。

與那次到日本看酒廠不同，我們在參觀的同時 KING ST 也在釀製啤酒，所以有機會直接喝到還沒完全把雜製隔離的啤酒（別問我隔離什麼，不知道，反正老闆說還欠一點但能喝）。喝下去的味道比做好的香但感覺有一點點雜製？的口味。

這裡除了是釀造工場外，也是倉庫，所以從釀製後直接裝箱全部在這裡進行，但說到石先生比較有趣的是下面這部…

Two days after a Star photographer filmed dozens of motorists ignoring the King St. #transit pilot rules, #Toronto #Police have released statistics on the number of tickets and charges laid.

The numbers show that more than 4,600 tickets have been handed out by officers enforcing the pilot rules since the program launched on Nov. 12.

A breakdown of the offenses shows that 3,163 tickets were issued for proceeding contrary to the signage, which instructs drivers to make a right and exit King St.

Another 395 tickets have been issued for simply disobeying signage.

An additional 1,061 tickets have been issued to drivers for other offenses.

Over five 15-minute intervals, a Star photographer filmed five intersections during Tuesday’s morning rush hour, clocking seven to 13 drivers passing through each intersection illegally. While each offence comes with a $110-fine and two demerit points, none of the drivers filmed were seen to be ticketed.

In an email to the Star Tuesday, Const. Clint Stibbe of traffic services said that police have no plans to ramp up enforcement of the pilot. “The pilot is still early. For now, the service will continue to monitor and enforce the rules on King Street at the current levels,” he said.

Stibbe noted that police enforce the pilot rules “when officers are available,” and deployment to the pilot area varies, depending on the number of service calls police receive. He said most drivers do obey the rules.
