To all dear Americans and Canadians, I wish you a happy Independence Day!
Canada Day is celebrated on July 1st, while America Day is celebrated on July 4th for its historical reasons. The first and third pictures show artworks by Carl Barks where Scrooge McDuck, Donald Duck, Gladstone Gander and Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck and others celebrate America's Independence Day, although Scrooge is Scottish, he is still an immigrant where he succeeded the most in America. The second image shows artwork by Carl Barks as his one-person commission where he drew Porky Pig as Mounted Police in Canadian uniform, guarding and caring for animals in the forest, and there's Bugs Bunny. Yes, this is a rare example of Barks drawing from the Looney Tunes, but he seems to have loved it.
