This is for http://king-0f-thieves.tumblr.com/ *Suuuuuck at tagging ,sorrry!* who asked me for a Bellarke drabble + You know you love me :) I changed it a bit.Hope you like it :) It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and birds were singing. And Monty’s newest version of moonshine was fresh and ready to be drank. After the mess with the grounders and everything that happened at the Mt. Weather Quarantine Ward Clarke’s been walking like a zombie after everyone, checking if they were fine, if there weren’t complications from the drugs the mountain men had been giving them to make their memories disappear. She needed her rest, everyone else could see it. Why wouldn’t she? ‘Princes?’ Bellamy’s voice rang in her ears. With her being all busy with the injured ones and him helping build the new camp next to the Lincoln’s tribe, the two of them hadn’t found time to even greet each other from time to time. She would look at him and he would catch her with his own eyes, and maybe give her a smile before heading back to work. And that was. She had forbidden him to talk about the mountain men or the Ward. It was something she wasn’t ready to think about and although Finn had tried to talk to her about it a few times, Bellamy had respected her decision from the moment they escaped the freaking hell place. ‘Hey, stranger ’Clarke smiled ‘Long time no see, huh?’ ‘Too long in my opinion. How are you?’ He asked standing beside her, looking at the working people. ‘Honestly?.. I don’t know. Everything’s.. surreal.’ ‘Everything’s been surreal from the start, Clarke. That’s not news.’ He pointed out. ‘There’s something else that’s bothering the princess as I see, and I’m game if she wants me to play guess with her.’ He looked at her playfully. Clarke couldn’t help but smile. Of course he was trying to find out what was happening. Finn was trying to do the same, but the fact that he was being all pushy all the time made her even more nervous. Bellamy on the other side, was calm and welcoming, instead of impatient and grumpy. She liked that. She was also trying to understand what was that strange feeling…emotion, she didn’t even know what it was, that appeared every time Bellamy stood beside her. Joy? Relief? Maybe she felt safe. Maybe all she needed to feel happy was to just have someone next to her in hard moments .No talking needed, just presence. ‘I don’t really feel like talking about it, Bellamy. Do you mind if we just.. you know.. do this without the talking.’ ‘Do what without the talking, Princess? Last time I checked, all I wanted to do was just talk. ’His smirk appeared on this face again.’ You’ve got more interesting ideas of how to use our time?’ Clarke laughed. ‘Yes, maybe a dinner and then you know, leave the talking for the morning after.’ She winked at him. ‘I knew you loved me’ He brought his hand to her head, softly kissing the top of it. ‘It was just a matter of time you realized you love me ’And his hand was gone. He was gone. She giggled at him while he was walking away from her backwards, his eyes playing with hers, his mouth showing her one of the most beautiful smirks he’s ever given her. And she knew. She loved the guy. She loved him as a stranger, co-leader, friend and as she was beginning to think- she could actually fall for him, if she let herself. For now, that wasn’t an option. But soon? Maybe later. Sooner or later she knew she was bound to fall for him. He was all she needed. And she was well aware of it. So Clarke decided when all this is over, and there aren’t more wars and death surrounding them-Maybe, just maybe.. she would finally let herself love him as a man.
