“The connection is too weak. I- I can’t connect us, something’s in the way, almost like…” Pris blinked a couple times as she pried her fingernails away from her teeth. Her eyes locked on hers in a strange way, a curious, fearful, and accusatory gaze, all at once. Kinga’s lips were uncomfortably chapped.
“...Is Lenora here? Can she communicate with us in any way?"
Pris’ stare was unyielding. “No.”
Although Leszek seemed like an aloof man, it did not stop Kinia from trying to approach him time and time again. Unlike some of the other temporary citizens of Avianhurst, she had never been scared of him, even going so far as to ensure that he's being treated with respect by others despite his unusual appearance.
Soon, his previously lonely trips to the lake became an opportunity to spend time together. He enjoyed listening to her talk, while she found comfort in his gentle demeanor. Despite the barrier preventing their boat from venturing too far, neither of them felt truly imprisoned during those outings.

About: A young cartographer with a past in medicine who is convinced that her big heart and faith will guide her through life. Always trying to see the best in people but not scared of using violence when it is needed.
Reason for coming to Avianhurst: Kinga is trying to get back on track with her life after leaving her previous job. She started working with a new company as a cartographer, and because of her being new and a people pleaser she always got the worst places to work with. She came to Avianhurst fully expecting a shady and abandoned place, and she got what she imagined but Kinga for sure wasn’t prepared for eleven other people at the same time in Avianhurst. What a coincidence.
