Disclaimer : this is purely my opinion and how I analyze things.

It's kind of a good thing that ateez didn't win kingdom (re : there's a bright side of ateez not winning kingdom) bcs if they did it'll probably hold off mingi's comeback by a couple months AT BEST because they'd have their reality show and special shows which wouldn't assure mingi's participation.

Which kinda made me concerned about skz because hyunjin's comeback is still not clear and with how mnet is, well... you know where I'm going.

I will now be taking comments, opinion, and criticism

THE KINGDOMS BRACKET IS OVER

Congratulations to Fungi! The final battle was an incredibly close fight, with the vote being at exactly 50/50 at some points during the week. Animalia fought very very hard, and we're very sad to see them go. Fungi fans and Animalia fans alike, you can all pat yourself on the backs for all the propaganda you made and the hard work you put into supporting your favourite team! Both kingdoms fought honourably.

A couple things to say:

Me and Ranch are not fungi people. Neither of us have much knowledge prior to this, so if we make a mistake, please correct us kindly. If you have any places of information about the differing phyla please send it our way so that we can get our tournament as accurate as possible. Fungi taxonomy is famously constantly changing, we will do our best to keep it consistent and represent each phyla properly.

Secondly, the final got a little heated in the reblogs. Please remember that this is all in good fun, and just a lighthearted (if very exciting) tumblr poll. I suspect the drama may cool down as we get more specific in our polls, but please keep in mind that there are people behind the screens!

Finally, the phyla polls won't start straight away, we're going to leave it for a few extra days (a week max) just to prepare everything. Keep your button pressing fingers ready for when we return!
