To Whatever End
Whelp since Kingdom of Ash, (the final book in the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas) is officially out in some countries and will be out in the US in just under an hour, I’m officially taking my leave of Tumblr until I’ve finished the book. I’ve enjoyed a few mild spoilers here and there to hold me over till the actual release but I feel if I see any more or actual pages/quotes from the book it will take away from the total experience of reading it. I’m lucky enough to be attending Sarah’s event in NYC tomorrow so I might take notes and post any interesting tidbits mentioned since she has such few tour dates this round (let me know if anyone would want me to do that)! I can’t believe after so many years this series is coming to an end. For me, this series will always hold a special place in my heart because Throne of Glass was one of the books that jump started my love/obsession of reading again. I’ll never forget how after finishing the first book I immediately had to go out to buy Crown of Midnight and Heir of Fire, thus leading to the agonizing wait for Queen of Shadows. It honestly feels like a lifetime ago but I’m so grateful for everything this series has brought me. I’m already counting on a severe, emotional book hangover after I read the very last page, which I am in no way prepared for. No matter what happens it’s been a wild ride friends and happy reading “to whatever end”!
