This is your fault so now you’re going to read about my KingPath crack taken seriously shipping thoughts.

I’m going to be building these thoughts by assuming that even if you operate on both of them being impostors, both parties involve have the same or close enough traits to their og work counterparts to build an idea of them and their interactions.

The first to ‘notice’ the other would be Scarface.

Any cold exterior or inability to emote wouldn’t actually deter him in any way. Tony would be able to tell if Jacket would be interested a bit before the man himself has realized. 

“It’s all in the eyes.”

Tony is better at reading people than one might think, which is a good thing seeing as social interactions are not exactly the other Floridian’s strong point.

The Kingpin might then begin inviting Jacket along with some others to a club. That’s always a good time when you’re not getting shot. Or having an argument.  Besides, dancing is always fun with others. 

Plus they “know” each other. 

And with the cover of the loud music, the Miamian began his quest to actually know the other man. Asking him questions about himself. Phrasing them in a Yes or No sort of way. Over this they end up bonding over their time in their respective militaries and their experience in drug use. This ended up with them frequently doing said drugs together. The messenger found the fast talker as easy to listen to as he smoked a joint.

Jacket might find himself also endeared by Tony’s protectiveness. A strange quality that he might not be exactly use to being directed towards him. 

Nor was he use to the casual way the Kingpin liked to spend thousands of dollars on gifts and other lavish things.

An unknown awkward conversation between Scarface and Joy that was really just Joy explaining videogames to him. He still doesn't get it, but it’s what Jacket enjoys.

So he found himself buying some retro games for the taller man.

"Listen Joy, keep this quiet you understand? Want it to be a surprise and watch his eyes light up like fucking fireworks."

This lead the other Miamian to scratch his brain for a return gift. But after a long time of being used as a hitman, a tool for others, all he really knew how to gift was his services. Tony was already in the heisting business, he had no need for Jacket’s set of skills alone. 

So the return ended up being something more subtle and quiet. 

Touch. An arm over the shoulder, a casual hand around the waist, these actions weren’t too common from him. They were quiet and never lasted. So of course this rarity being directed towards the other Floridian would be something said Cuban American would love.

It wasn’t pricey, but it had a lot of meaning.
