Linda had been working to follow Erik’s instructions since their first lesson on trying to protect her mind somewhat. Her ‘house’ came more easily to her mind’s eye now, an office for her work memories, a garden for her childhood, a dorm bedroom for her college years, a regular bedroom for her more... intimate memories. It certainly wasn’t easy, and the image seemed to slip often, but she was trying.
Erik had scheduled to meet with her again this afternoon and said he’d be bringing a telepath with him to ‘test’ how she was getting on. Feeling slightly nervous, Linda opened her office door to see Erik and a young with shocking pink hair she vaguely recognised behind him, “Please, come in.” she smiled, standing back to let both of them inside. “You’ll have to forgive me,” Linda gently closed the door behind them, “I think I’ve seen you at some point but I can’t recall your name; I’m Linda.”
