It must have tumbled out of her pocket somehow. Purin made a mental note to ask Ichigo and the others how they kept theirs safe and sound.

it was always such a rough time during the shift from spring to fall semester, time seems to fall into itself, with each passing year it seemed to go quicker and quicker. perhaps was the toll of growing up, yet, they had so many years && events to experience. a simple observation on his part.

alas, by the time of year rolled around, it was always the king && queen doing most of the work. The Jack occupied with graduation, the ace fooling about, && their joker doing what ever she saw fit. Not that Nadeshiko minded the extra work, quite the contrary, it felt rather natural and even normal. of course, not all felt this way.

The King for example, as reliable and responsible as he seemed, his true nature was much more childish. a quality, nadeshiko rather admired and favored over his usual demeanor, a contrast to her cool headed and mature attitude towards most. Tadase was many things, kind hearted, understanding, a leader, && an individual driven by his sometimes over dramatic ideals.

he's had the pleasure to be able to see him grow into the person he is today, it brought pride to him. evermore, saddening knowing his situation. how long would it be? How long would it be, until they would see each other again, to be able to talk in such peaceful settings. ❝ hotori-kun? I-❝ his words are quickly cut off, by the peaceful breathing of his king && the sudden weight on his shoulder.

all he can muster is a smile, accompanied with emotions of bittersweet && gratitude. thankful, he was able to spend his school days with such a wonderful companion && friend, but, his wish for this wondrous dream to never end. In his heart, he knows this to be false and all dreams must come to a close. placing his own head 'pon his, nadeshiko whispers for one last time. ❝ thank you, my king. for a most wondrous dream, but I will have to wake up soon. perhaps, one day I'll be able to revisit this dream.❝
