Oddly Specific Headcanons Meme
24: Does your muse hate their middle name? \ What is it?
Me: *avoids trying to headcanon a full name for the sake of keeping things loose*Let: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)Me: You… sonnuva…
Okay, you know what… I’m doing this. I’m throwing myself on this pyre. Merlin’s birthname, before he managed to erase all public records was Hamish Archibald Fleming. He doesn’t hate it, per say - Archibald was a common enough name when he was a child that he didn’t get any more grief for it than is normal for the typical schoolyard antics. It’s just something he hasn’t associated with in almost three decades.
He does get a little weirded out when he hears the name Archie, however, as it was for a while his nickname in his youth.
38: What was your muses’s first job?
Like the majority of the Kingsman, he was the son of an upper class family, who felt that it was more imperative to push him hard through school rather than have him waste his time working in some tradesman’s shop. His first, official job was with the Kingsman Agency.

New Arrival
Gazelle smiled politely as the plane arrived. She was not yet too busy to greet the guests personally, though she would have rather let Valentine be talking to them. He was always the more social face of their operation.
Still, she kept a professional smile as she check the next person in line.
“Mr. Charles Hesketh? Glad to have you join us.”

brogueinoxfords sent & to trace one of Charlie’s scars. . “You don’t want to do that,” Charlie said, turning away the moment Merlin’s long fingers landed on the scarred mess of his shoulder. “You don’t have to do that. I know it is unsightly.”
Poppy had told him that often enough. To a point where he had kept the arm on at all times.
“Just… can you fix a new prosthetic?”
“Unsightly, eh?” Merlin looked at him, with a rather cool stare. He let a foot shift, the metal limb making a faint clicking noise as he did so. It was subtle, but oh so deliberate when it was just the pair of them in the room.
“It’s a mark of precisely what you’ve done in life. If you find it unsightly, perhaps it is merely your own reflection on your choices.” He offered, moving to keep Charlie rooted in the spot to examine just where everything lay, what muscles and bones were still intact under the scar tissue.
“I’m sure I can work on something for you.” It was all he said, finally pulling away from him to write something on his clipboard.
