Hi just wondering, did you find anything out about spells and things to do during the eclipse besides making water?

Hi! Sorry I took so long to reply! I haven’t had acsess to a laptop to make the links and stuff easier. Here’s what I found so far:

Personally, I’m probably going to prepare something about having balance in life since both the sun and moon will be visible and without the exact balance of all the right criteria and movements, we wouldn’t be experiencing an eclipse. I have trouble keeping school, clubs, social and private life balanced and tend to swing from one extreme to the other. Start of the school year I’m super focused on clubs and hanging out with friends. As the year goes on, I drop clubs and socializing for staying in and not doing anything. Occasionally, I get really focused on school so balance is hard for me. I’m going to try to prepare maybe a spell jar or sachet that I can charge under the eclipse. I’m definitely going to leave some water out to charge so that I’ll have it when I need it.

I'm in need of some protection but I'm a beginner and I'm not really sure what to do. I have a necklace that I would like to enchant/channel protection into so I was wondering if you have any tips? Thank you!!

Absolutely!

If you have a necklace in mind, a protection charm is as simple as getting yourself a jar or a sachet bag and some protective herbs. You simply place the necklace into the container with the herbs, shake it carefully, and leave it out overnight. If you can place the container so that it is touched by the light of a full moon or the noonday sun, so much the better.

This method works for just about any small object that you want to charm for protection. Jewelry, buttons, figurines, shoelaces, hair ornaments, you name it.

My go-to blend of protective herbs is Sweet Basil, Bay Leaves, Rosemary, and Green Sage. If I need some extra punch, I’ll throw in a pinch of salt or a cinnamon stick. All things I can find in the spice aisle, all relatively inexpensive. For heavy-duty protections, you might want to add something like Angelica or Solomon’s Seal Root, but these usually require a trip to a specialty shop, and the common kitchen herbs work just as well for everyday charms.
