sachet moment
Today I was at the charity shop I usually go to and purchased this awesome knitting pin 🧶
There also was a woman I met before. We talked from time to time. She's a volunteer. I showed her the photos of my succulent composition I made with the little figures I got there before. She gave me this pouch (sachet) and told me it suited my Snow White-like outfit (I was wearing a light linen Bavarian dress) ☁️
She gave me a nice box with Sacré Cœur for the pin too 🤍
She's such a comfortable and kind woman, I really want to gift her something back 🥹 I thought about a crochet doily I could make for her ✨

Witch Growth Challenge Day 12: Sleep Sachet
[image description: first image: a wooden table with on it a jar of salt, an incense stick, a celestite crystal, a silver sachet, a honey jar but with rose petals inside, a rosemary bundle and a bag of mint tea; second image: the silver sachet with the ingredients inside]
I've been wanting to do it for a bit and now I finally did it: a sachet to keep near my bed to help me fall asleep and sleep well.
This is also my first sachet! And a topic that's dear to me, because it took me a loooooong time to actually fix my sleeping schedule, so sleeping well and waking up early-ish is important for me.
What I used:
a sachet
salt (for protection)
rosemary (for protection, sleep and healing)
rose petals (for self love and anti anxiety)
mint tea (for healing and relax) note: I used mint tea because I don't have any mint around, but of course the properties are of mint!
incense to cleanse everything before (+a lighter to lit it)
celestite (for help falling asleep)
What I did:
I cleansed everything with the incense, then I took the sachet and put each ingredient inside, focusing (and actually saying aloud in my case!) on their property and their meaning.
Then I closed the sachet and put it on my "nightstand" to have it close when I sleep!
🌿Spellwork: Herb Amulets
Herb amulets are one of the easiest spellworks a witch can make. A herb amulet can be about anything and be filled with any herb of your choosing.
Note that the more an amulet is specific, the stronger it is. Think of it like multitasking and focused task. you may be great at keeping track of seven things, but when you only focus on one thing you exceptionally well. (ever tried doing school work while watching a TV show? Haha!)
Basically, herbs have corresponding meanings. Choose your herbs, as many or little as possible.
Put herbs into a morter and crush them till the aroma is released.
Place your crushed herbs onto a cloth (colour of your choosing).
Gather the cloth up and tie it together, you may use knot magic here.
Hang where you please or wear it.
Here's mine (and my mother's) and what I intend for it to do (and what she intends hers to do.
Mine is in the red cloth: I intend for it to give me good travels in my car as I wanted to hang it up in my car, as well as making sure that no matter where i go, i have a bit of a good breath with me.
Cinnamon: Adventure in life and travels.
Clovers: Gives dignity, avoids bullying.
Anise: Gives protection on travels.
Cardamom: Gives good breath and kisses.
My mother's in the blue cloth: She doesn't delve into witchcraft like I do, but she wanted to make an all around good feeling herb amulet for me.
Lavender: Kindness and love.
Cinnamon: Adventure in life and travels.
Coriander: Makes you rich.
Common Sage: Cleanses the room and brings good spirits.
Roses: Gives you kisses, hugs, and love.
Cardamom: Gives good breath and kisses.
Calendula: Sunshine and happiness.
Have fun!
I made some sleep sachets for me and my partners, as we've all been struggling to sleep with everything going on in our micro and macro lately.
