I'm not trying to suggest that kink and activism can't ever co-exist.

But I am saying that appointing yourself some sort of egg-cracking crusader as some sort of smoke screen to pretend your kink is a form of social activism, and using that to justify being horny on main--

That's more or less ideologically identical to the conservative trad wives who insist being a submissive house wife makes them the REAL feminists.

Because god forbid they develop enough interpersonal skills to properly negotiate a high-control sub/dom dynamic with their husbands.

Cheating isn’t a crime, it sure feels very shitty to get cheated on I understand but you need to get over it and move on.

3. It can be therapeutic and cathartic to at the very least expose an abuser.

4. Emotions aside, he lied about me to another person so he could continue having sex with us both and the boundary was that said person needed to know if he had any other sexual partners (for STI prevention, awareness, etc.) so he’s eliminating both people’s ability to have INFORMED consent. Especially in a kink setting you need to be honest about your sexual experiences.

So yeah, I can just move on because it no longer impacts me. But I ain’t about to turn a blind eye because welp not my problem anymore. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm Dakota (They/He), auADHD Transmasc-Agender and am bisexual. I game quite a lot but also enjoy drawing/painting, baking, and making OCs in my spare time. I try not to be judgemental of kinks just because they're not my thing. Trust, I understand that kink is kinda complicated and sometimes something can harmlessly turn you on while not aligning with your values, yadda yadda--

But isn't the appeal of forcefem as a kink, in part, gender-based humiliation? Like . . . Isn't that the "force" part of forcefem?

Cool sexy and hot if that's a consentual role-play thing, not yucking other people's yums-- but by the way ISFF talks about it, this seems to be possibly both a kink and something of an ideology for her.

Just a vibe check fam, because I haven't been following the drama-- we get that would make her straight up just a misogynst, right? Like if she feels there's something genuinely ideologically debasing about being a woman-- that means she's a misogynist that gets off on gender-based degradation and is perfectly comfortable inflicting that on others.

There is a distinct difference between those two things.

Okay I think I've seen things now today that cross my threshold to just not poop touch, or get in the middle of friends/people I'm friendly with's personal beef because I do think it's actually fine for people to not like each other-- but, yeah no, I think things have been said that need to be addressed:

@britts-galaxy-brain does not have just one singular trans friend. Having trans friends, of course, means little of exempting one from transphobia. But if you're going to call for trial by tranny committee it's kinda fucking scummy to elect yourself and your fellows as The Valid Transes (TM) and tell everyone else to go fuck ourselves.

It is actually very weird and very not sister slay Britt and the rest of us keep being put in a situation where we keep having to bring up a lot of us are also in the kink community. The hostile tone some people have been adopting here indicates to me that plenty involving themselves in these discussions are not so much active and engage members of the kink community themselves, but people who just rampant horny post online and believe that gives them authority. It's generally considered a done deal that weeding out abusers so they cannot use the space to victimize people while lampshading it as "kink" is a, by and large, good thing. I'm not saying you need to agree with every opinion Britt has, I'm not saying I personally even agree with everything Britt has said-- I'm saying the TONE y'all b taking is kinda giving the game away.

Tumblr's worst nightmare, I know: two things being true at once. That, yes-- there is very valid concern that trans women in particular are at times uniquely vulnerable to being targeted more harshly and critically for naughty behavior and given little in ->reasonable<- benifit of the doubt. And also-- has anyone considered that the demographics of Furries, kinksters, and fucking tumblr dot com is going to have a disproportionately high amount trans women to the general population? Especially on the internet now that tech has flooded most other platforms with Nazies? That for reasons both reasonable and not, bad actors in the queer community are going to be met with a lot more hostility on platforms that ban "cis" as hate speech, they will not be met with here? That fringe opinion posts DO generate more engagement, and therefore are seen by more eyeballs, which causes a feedback loop? That we all fucking know this is how the internet works but apparently-- just keep forgetting?

(To find this again ->) 🦅 – As someone who was in kink communities in the flesh space for some time (and in more extreme kink, but not her type), two things rub me really wrong.

1. I really do not like the way with which PT posts about kink as someone who has a presence in sfw spaces. This means that if you are someone who came from ex. YT, thinking that they will see more of the same, will stumble into this stuff because she tagged inconsistently or not at all. Also that means automatically people will have a parasocial relationship and think cool art = cool good person. And because most people are not part of kink groups irl and also even those most of the time are not in those types circles they don't know what is appropriate/fine. Which isn't helped by other people shutting down any conversation. I belive wholeheartedly that if you cannot question someone about their kink and how it affects someone else, especially if they post as publicly as PT, that that is dangerous. People often treat the internet as if it isn't real and as if it cannot affect your opinions. For people who do have an opinion, this is somewhat right—but for people who see this for the first time because they are young and found Taxxon through her YT and music? They don't know. They have no fucking clue so of course they will accept anything from her because she is cool and weird like them. This means that they enter these spaces with a skewed perspective. Especially important with context of her saying that minors should lie about their age and directly interact with adults in a kink context. I have nothing against older teens interacting with things like porn and raunchy magazines and being curious and maybe having less than vanilla sex with peers. This is normal and older teens have always done this (see the jokes in 70s-90s movies w teen boys, they are often depicted watching adult movies and stealing their dads playboy mag). This however is not the same. Not only do most adults not want to do shit with kids, but this also sets them up to enter the types of spaces you shouldn't be in as a newbie. Because first they lie about their age, then their experience and who knowswhat. I can imagine that somone very young and new could get into a situation where they feel uncomfortable and either don't understand enough and/or don't want to back out because they have previously lied so much that they think that this is fine because "they did this to themselves" and that they deserve it for entering this space.

2. I really don't like the way people skirt around Taxxons kinks in these discusionss. Especially because one of the accusations is that she sent a 13 year old porn and jacked of in an public vc. This makes it easy to dimiss it as pedojacketing, since "icky kink" reads as puppy play, s/d, sadomasochism, maybe piss or "breaking" kinks and not incest/babyfur. If you tell someone upfront what her kinks are and what the more grevious accusations are, I belive that most would actually first pause and want to know more and not go immediately on the defensive. I know that if someone in my old community, which was a sadist/high control group, was accused of domestic violence/abuse or threatening violence towards someone, I would actually at the very least take it seriously and depending the accused and on my relationship with them or the victim intervene directly. Plenty of people who are kinky can also be abusive. And plenty hide their abuse with their kink. Kink and queerness does not elevate you as a human being into being incapable of abuse. To act as if you cannot endanger someone else with a kink shows me that I would actually never do anything with most tumblr users. Even tame kinks like slapping or pulling someones hair can harm them tremendously if done forcefully or incorrectly. And these types of roleplay can also harm others. To dismiss these accusations just because Taxxon is also into kink and is queer shows me a lot about the relationship most people here have with more extreme kink and RACK communities in the fleshspace (none. They have none probably.)

also you're so right about harm in kink 100% needing to be discussed. I don't know of a single truly "fictional/fantasy" kink. All kinks can be done IRL, but there is a point where it stops being fun and turns into harm. It's true of the most "out there" kinks too. There's ways to engage with inflation and vore irl to an extreme, but it turns into something life threatening and/or abusive (especially towards animals with irl vore). The denial that kink is in fact a real activity people participate in first off, and not "just a fantasy", is so insane of these people. And the denial of it being harmful at any point is delusional.
