Hinano Uzui

Second eldest of the Uzui kids. Her name means 'Sunflower Child". In this AU Kyojuro is another member of the polycule and I will die on this hill; that being said Kyojuro doesn't pass down his surname.

Despite her lineiage, Hinano is more docile like Senjuro. However she excels in battle and surpssed her elder brother quickly and took to Sound Bresthing.

For the OC ask game, would you answer C5, T4, and W2 for Hanako please?? (holy crap that's a lot of questions, tbh I did NOT read them all so... feel free to throw in an extra one you're really wanting to answer!)

Okay, first of all, Anon, bless you, thank you for the ask, I had so much fun with it you’d not believe, you have my heart!

Second, no this totally didn’t take me like a month to answer because I got inspired to “doodle” up something for it, nah

C5: Comfort: Who is the best at comforting them when down?

I had to think a little about this, because my initial reaction would have been Tenzou obviously, but then I thought more about it, and it’s actually Kinoto!

Hanako doesn’t hold Kinoto on such a high pedestal as she does Tenzou, he’s still very important to her, but she doesn’t want to impress him as much as she does Tenzou, doesn’t seek his approval in the same way, so she can open up to him emotionally much easier, and in turn through the years this lead to Kinoto reading her emotional turmoils better.

And here’s one of the little somethings I made, Kinoto comming to comfort Hanako after the whole Kakashi fiasco

T4: Truth: Have they lied about anything they regret lying about?

I couldn’t think of anything specific right now tbh, a lot of Hanako’s story is still in development, BUT I think there’ll be something in the future, Boruto Era, involving Konohamaru and some feelings :3

W2: Water: Have they learned to swim?

Oh yeah, by the time Hanako learnt to walk on water, she sure learnt how to swim as well!

Have some not-impressed, drenched baby Hanako for this one! It was super fun experimenting with how to draw wet hair and clothes, I’m actually quite happy with the results!

Once again, thank you very much for the ask Anon, you made me think about a lot of things about Hanako, and actually boosted her story development quite a lot!

I found some old sketches I did after anbu arc! Everyone remember Kinoe’s partner from the Root I hope! who loved him but Kinoe chose K Kinoto: How’s the mission? Kinoe: Failed it. But you know, I met a boy. Hatake Kakashi. Kinoe: ww~ Kinoto *stiffened* Kinoto: “WHO’S THAT”

‘You’ve returned to me.’ Tenzo cupped Kinoto’s cheeks gently, mindful of his injuries, his big cat-like eyes warm and soft. ‘I promised I would come back to you.’ Kinoto smiled faintly, both of them knowing that such promises couldn’t always be kept but neither mentioned it. They just pressed their foreheads together, breathing each other’s scents for a while. ‘Come on, let’s patch you up.’ Tenzo took his hand and tugged Kinoto towards the bathroom.

So my headcanon here is: 

- before Tenzo got together with Kakashi, he was in relationship with Kinoto

- Kinoto appeared on his doorstep one day to apologize for everything that happened during Tenzo’s escape from Root (they were friends but Kinoto was still unable to defy Danzo and stand up for Kinoe/Tenzo)

- at that time, Tenzo was already in love with Kakashi but he never thought he would have a chance so he didn’t act upon his feelings

- both of them lonely and longing for company, they ended up together

- I’m positive they loved each other genuinely, even though Kinoto always knew Tenzo wouldn’t let go of Kakashi and he would love Kakashi more

- KinoKino broke up after almost two years because it started to be too dangerous for Kinoto to sneak out of Root headquarters without being noticed (his colleagues suspected something) and Danzo would punish him should he find out and Tenzo wouldn’t have that

- Kinoto returned to Tenzo once Danzo was dead and their Root seals disappeared, but Tenzo already lived with Kakashi (it also caused some confusion between Tenzo and Kakashi as my Kashi is quite jealous) so he let Tenzo go and be happy
