He’s never, never seen a bird like that before- Huge and white and huge and was that a saddle?- And upon that, he promptly decided that it’d be impossible for this bird, this really cool bird to be native to Tellius, because, heck, not even the herons came close to being like... this. Whatever this was. He could probably ride it if he were any good in maneuvering any kind of steed, but frankly, he’s not, so he dismissed the thought- He’d rather survive the day, thank you.
Still, the saddle must’ve meant the bird belonged to someone, right? He ignored the odd look the bird gave him as he stared back, before spotting the woman nearby- And, assuming her to be the owner of Cool Bird, as he dubbed the creature, he called out.
“I’ve never seen anything like this before- Is this your steed? Are you from around here, ma’am?”
