The crew got a little makeover/update hehe 🤭

*Someone wanders into the King’s Room, looking around curiously. She doesn’t seem to know where she is. She looks a lot like a Younger (and less vampiric!) Ria. The kid is… maybe 8? It’s a little hard to tell.*

*Her hair isn’t as long as Ria’s is, going to her mid-back. It’s much brighter, too — Candy Apple red, rather than blood red. It’s shiny and well taken care of; the way Ria tries to, despite a lack of materials to do it properly. She’s shorter, and… not malnourished! She still has some amount of ‘baby’ fat on her, even. More than Ria has.*

*The child’s — Kiona’s — shorter, too. Around a foot shorter. She’s a little tanner, but not by much. But beyond all of that, she’s alive. Breathing, heart beating, and full of her own blood. Her cheeks are even a little pink!*

*Despite all the differences, her eyes are the same as when Ria first showed up, though. Round and shiny, the color a pure silver. And, even though she’s not a vampire, she still has small fangs. They’re in the same place as her larger pair, and barely noticeable. Too sharp for a human to naturally have, but dull enough that it can be written off easily.*

*She looks… almost like a doll, really. A well taken care of doll. One in a hospital gown and slippers, but… they’re not cheap ones. For hospital clothes, they’re surprisingly nice. No doubt that her ‘normal’ clothes would probably be nicer.*

[the king melts from its normal form to a more recognizable human one. the shadows in the room lengthen. he is still tall, but he crouches down to be on her level. he doesn’t approach. not yet.]
